I'm probably one of those who could have committed murder during PMS and the closer I got to menopause the worse I got. I had it so bad I even changed jobs, bought a car over the phone, etc. It took years before I realized that hormones were driving my life. Fortunately for me, I had a very tiny uterine fibroid that kept my uterus in a constant secretory state. Hence, was considered okay to have complete hysterectomy. Best thing I ever did. Don't miss the periods a bit. Took HRT for two years, stopped that, and have had no problems since. The hysterectomy was in 2001. Haven't ever regretted it. Even the surgery wasn't bad. I was back to typing in less than two weeks.
