I see the bigger picture and why you are so worried now.

I just have gone through the roughest year ever with my 3 kids--23,19 and 18. The biggest thing I learned this year is to let it go and let them learn on their own. They are going to make lots of decisions that we, as parents, don't agree with, but that is the way they learn.

It really made my life a lot easier when I stopped stressing about the choices they were making. You can still provide guidance, but just step back and take assurance in the fact that you have provided him with the sound basis to have it all turn out okay. It may be rough watching him get to that point, but it will all work out in the end.

Hang in there Mom. I know this is the toughest part of parenting.
