At a previous hospital job there were several doctors that misused this -- they'd be talking about lab values and say 'respectfully' as to their order. arrrgggg!!!! there are many examples, but this one killed me over and over :)

Respectfully....sm
You're obviously working from some very simplistic assumptions, leading you to reach equally simplistic conclusions.

Both male and female behaviors (let's just say "human behaviors", shall we?) are determined by multiple factors, among which are certainly hormonal influences, but also many others. To dismiss or trivialize any of these factors is to reduce behavior, and even the meaning of "being human", to the point that it becomes either inexplicable entirely or meaningless.

Consider the implications of your stereotypic assertions. If it were indeed true that behavior - especially bad behavior - could be laid at the feet of an individual's hormones, we would have absolutely no legal theory by which we could reasonably hold them responsible for such behaviors. We might as well arrest someone with epilepsy for having a seizure.

Think!
I have to respectfully disagree with you on this. If it
costs him his job and his reputation, that is entirely his own fault. This may not be the first time something like this happened and if he gets away with it, it probably will not be the last time either. Who knows what it could escalate to with someone else. I would not appreciate that kind of comment made to my 24-year-old daughter and would not hesitate for one minute to report it to management. That is absolutely and completely unacceptable from anyone for any reason. He admitted he thought she was pretty and was maybe overly friendly, so, obviously he knows he's wrong and should suffer the repercussions from his inappropriate behavior.
