Becoming an MT instructor?

Does anyone know what is involved in becoming an MT instructor? What type of schooling would be required? How could I go about finding out what additional schooling I would need beyond my 10 years of MT experience?

I have been teaching medical transcription at a local community college for a few years. Most colleges prefer at least a Bachelors degree, which I have in nursing, however with a specialty field such as transcription some I know are willing to take the experience over the education.
Have you considered asking your instructor
for help? After all, you are presumably paying for your education. Shouldn't the school be helping you when you have difficulty? Why should you expect working MTs to drop everything and help you? Maybe you just need to put more time into your studies. If you're going to be a successful MT, you're going to have to learn to figure things out for yourself.
Find an instructor!
It's important for this kind of exercise. Even 3 or 4 sessions with someone certified is infinitely better than trying to figure it out from a book.
Think about it: If you had bought a pair of skis, would you hit the slopes after watching a video or reading a book? There is potential for injury with any exercise.
