Some of them do care. I used to feel the same way you do about them when I worked for my other job. I don't think we will ever be rid of ESL doctors in the land of opportunity. I really don't think some of them have been told that it's hard to understand them. The ones that are clearly aware of it do try to take their time and spell words. At the same time, I would imagine they are just as frustrated as we are because who wants to see 30 patients and have to spell everything in order to get the information transcribed correctly. I do believe that foreign doctors should have the option of typing their own work because they know what they are saying. Heck, teach them to transcribe and give us the American doctors. Just a thought. Of course, I know I'm going to be bashed for that.
