Every morning I walk in my garden with my coffee in hand and pull a few weeds here and there and water if needed.  Beauty and fragrance is very relaxing.

What about a gardening club?
You might check on-line and see if there are any gardening groups in your area. Or ask neighbors about it. Or you might consider starting a home bible class if there is anything you want to study. They have books to help you at the Christian book store. Or if you have pets, I discovered there are breed and non-breed dog clubs around. You can find those on line for your area.

Good luck!
Me, too! I thought I was the only weird one who liked canning and gardening.
I don't know of anyone else that does it besides the older ladies at the state fair. I did four different batches of salsa this year, apple pie filling, jalapeno crabapple jelly, spaghetti sauce, and pickled zucchini. I froze rutabagas, beans, zucchini, carrots, stewed tomatoes, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and chokecherries. We're doing the horseradish next weekend. We're trying to eat more natural without all the additives. Plus, it tastes better than store bought.
