I'm with you....

Two spaces after a period is correct. 

The day any doc tells me to put one space after a period will be the day I flat out tell him ..... "You practice medicine; I'll practice medical transcription. If you want to practice medical transcription AND medicine, then you don't need ME!" 

(They do it to save a penny....cheapos they are!)
