I came here just now to ask about this same question...

Just now, I was going to ask... how do you make yourself noticeable to a company that is accepting hundreds upon hundreds of applications? With 10+ years experience... I lose my account April 1st (HEY at least they told me right!) and I have NEVER applied to a big company.

I am at a loss as no one has responded to me...

I am thinking about taking my resume to local offices.. but what are the chances they actually need someone!

Well I definitely think a career change is ahead, but it's so disappointing.

We all b*tch and complain but is anyone really doing anything? Writing to the white house? sure... but how far is that gonna get when only 5 or 10 of us do it.

I wish I was more organized to actually form something that maybe our voices could be heard. until then, AAMT oh sorry AHDI apparently leads the way for that... which obviously most of us are not included in their "voice".
