Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to you Sherri and thanks for sticking to your beliefs.  Although I am Jewish, my children have always known both Christmas and Hanukah and are the bettter for it.  Christmas is infectious and it is one disease I am grateful to have been infected with.  Although we understand and worship both (hubby is Christian), we also honor and respect the right of all to believe and celebrate as they feel.  Politics has no place interfering with the feeling of caring and generosity that people show more prevalently during this time of year.  Christmas spirit has nothing to do with religion -- it has to do with spirituality.  If the truth be known, I feel that the spirit of caring and giving is shown year-round in many ways to many people, and I don't hear people complaining.  It takes many good people in this world to help those less fortunate.
Merry Christmas
Thank you Sheri and Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to all of you!
Thanks Sheri for the post!
Merry CHRISTmas

Reminds me of when I was an office manager --

There was an employee who stated she was an atheist.  She was very persistent in boycotting anything to do with CHRISTmas.  Guess what?  She was the first one with her hand open when it came time to pass out CHRISTmas bonuses.  She also wrote "holiday pay" on her time card for CHRISTmas day.  Hmmmm...

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!
That makes me feel good.  I am so frelling tired of Happy Holidays or enjoy the holidays.  Well, my holiday is Christmas.  Holi-day or Holy Day Christmas, you know the day that Christ was born.  So anyway, Merry Christmas to everyone.
Merry Christmas to you, too!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU TOO!!
My holiday is Christmas, the day I celebrate my Savior's birth. I praise His birth all year long. Too bad those without true spiritual guidance try to take it away from those that do. They need our prayers, for they are truly missing something in their lives, to have to stick their noses in others.
Merry Christmas to you all!

and to all a goodnight.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas EVERYONE!  Wow, Sheri, I am so happy to see that the owner of this board shares the same beliefs that I do.

Merry CHRISTmas to you too.

Merry Christmas, but I though this

Merry Christmas
I'm not a regular poster, but still feel connected to this board.  Anyway, I wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.  Here's to opening our hearts and homes to others and greetings for a wonderful New Year!
How about Merry Christmas or (sm)
Lemongello and Orangello (twins--no kidding). Pronounced sort of like Michaelangelo. The list could go on and on.
Merry Christmas! nm

To all of my fellow weekened warriors, we rock!

Merry Christmas to you
Merry Christmas to you also, and thank you for providing us with this wonderful web site throughout the year.
Merry Christmas sm
Just want to say thanks to all you hard working MT's.  I am constantly  amazed at how sharp many of you are.  I am an oldie will be 70 next birthday, but still working.  Always loved transcription was also a Paramedic, but back prevented that kind of work.  Anyway God Bless all of You.  May the New Year bring prosperity for all of us.
Thanks, EJ. A very Merry Christmas to you too, and SM
a lovely productive and luctrative New Year. I love hearing you're still at it. I'm still a way off, but it's in view out on the horizon. My aunt's 98 and still toddling around, so I'm thinking 70 is likely to be way too young to drag up the rocker.
im not really complaining...i just got mad when i didnt get my check right before christmas...
and started looking at other co... and then of course i get this offer... that i cant seem to weigh out ...and then my currnet co. made it all better. so i will prob just stay put, and gain some skills adn time to my resume'...you kno?

Merry Christmas (or whatever you may celebrate)!!!!

THANK YOU Ms. STEADMAN AND MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!
Thank you kindly MS Steadman, for providing this web site and for all that you do... may you continue to be blessed. And to all my fellow MTs, and I do mean ALL, each and every one of you - have a very Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and a very exciting New Year. No matter what the new year brings, may we all be blessed with the ability to succeed and prosper.

I just want to share that in my early days as a Transcriptionist at a hospital, we worked with very many Jewish friends and coworkers. It was so touching how the Jewish coworkers and the Christians approached the holidays. We all covered for each other's religious holidays and would work those holidays so that our friends of different faiths could have the time off to be with their families. It was all done voluntarily among coworkers. Never a problem. Happy Haunnukah!!!
Merry Christmas to you too Sherri
I am so glad more people are standing up for their beliefs
Merry Christmas, Sheri!
I'm tired of all the anti-Christian sentiment in this country too.
MERRY CHRISTMAS ADAM!

"Peace on Earth" - Merry Christmas to
you, also :)  John Lennon was human and made many mistakes, but his message was that of peace and love.  No war! No hate! No prejudice!  Sounds good to me!  A blessed Christmas to all.
Merry Christmas... sorry, you are correct -- it is on my desktop
but mine says HOD. I am not trying to "save face" for anyone. I love MDI, and proud to work there. I didn't mean to make you angry or start a war of words, just answering another post.
Merry Christmas to you too! Great post!

"Wish Me a Merry Christmas" buttons are selling ...sm
like hot cakes around the Atlanta area.   One of the Christian radio stations is also making them and giving them out for free as fast as they can manufacture them.  I love it!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thank you for allowing me to post my beliefs without being ridicule

I don't usually watch TV, but Christmas

night I saw part of Grey's Anatomy and I loved it.    Can someone fill me in on what is or was going on with the black doctor and the Asian-looking doctor?

I used to watch ER years ago, then it was Chicago Hope.  ER now isn't what it used to be.  Of course before all these shows there was Emergency.

I went from national to small back to national
My large national has all the resources and money to operate successfully and have decent platform, etc., to work on, the small company did not, and I went back to the national.
I work on Escription platform and the adapter didnt work for me. I tried it on my laptop though
and the foot pedal would just not play correctly with the adapter. I think others have tried it and done it but it just didnt work for me.
(1) Don't work for a national. (2) Don't work for a national. (3) Don't work for a nation

If you still want to stay in MTing, which is a dying job, go to a hospital and apply to do radiology.  They sometimes hire people just out of transcription schools.

But don't work at home thinking you will make any money at all - even with 20 years of experience - the nationals have wrecked that.

Be under the umbrella of protection at a hospital.  That way when your computer breaks, the weather is bad, you are sick, there is no work - you will not be without a paycheck.

The nationals are selling a line of BULL.  Gradually they have taken what used to be our built-it benefits------------> and moved it over to their pockets and called it their PROFIT.  They are not brilliant - but they are unethical thieves.

But you sure have to watch your back.
l
WATCH YOUR BACK
Trust me, if you are getting paid 18 cents per line, you are sticking out like a sore thumb! That immediately puts you under a microscope at some point. I have been in business many years and if you are an exception to the rule, surely you are marked. THIS IS NOT A NEGATIVE POST. You must keep in mind the climate of the healthcare industry right now as a whole, your current CEO and CFO of the hospital - are they new, have they been there long? When does their contract come up for renewal? A change of hands in administration is all it takes to knock out any security you might feel. A change in the Medical Records department could change things quickly also. My advice, if I may? Be creative - work your 18 cents a line to keep the client interested. Offer perks, maybe some % discount for quick payment, or sosmething for loyalty, some type of support added to your services such as cumulative logs of info data per month for their review - not hard to do in Microsoft Office programs. I've been through many, many situations with hospitals. Good for you for getting that much per line. I'm always happy to hear of any one's success and my prayers that you continue as such for a long time.
