I think.......

I would move on.  I have worked for nationals and now am working home-based for a local hospital.  What a difference!!!  I feel like I"m part of a team, we all communicate throughout the work day via e-mail with each other (if needed), by phone for help with stumpers, and with the office.  We have staff meetings where we all gather once a month.  First and foremost, I know how my boss feels about cherry picking.  Getting caught doing that would result in a write up in your personnel file.  Getting caught again would probably result in your termination.  She simply doesn't tolerate it.  EVERYBODY does EVERYTHING, the good, the bad, and the ugly.  It's only fair.  I think that working for big nationals and even smaller services which might be in remote locations just doesn't allow for teamwork or personal knowledge of the ethics of those you are working for.  This would never happen where I work now, but I'm sure favortism was rampant in past jobs that I have had.  Can you speak to the boss and vocalize your upset about this?
