I would take it in a heartbeat..

but that is probably because I like change.  I am not the type of person to be in the same place at the same time doing the same thing year after year after year.  It is too confining for me.  And the older I get, the more confined I feel.

But a lot of people do not feel comfortable with change.  They prefer the "tried and true."

AND, a lot of people would not be able to take that type of job because of responsibilities such as family.

So, you have to think of what type of person YOU are.  Do you like change? Do you like meeting new people? Do you like living in a new city, getting to know your way around?  How about living in a hotel?  Could you do that for 2 or 3 weeks if it was required?

Or do you feel more comfortable and secure in your own surroundings?  Where you know the shortcut to almost any place you have to go and know just how far each Starbucks is from anywhere you happen to be .

I am NOT saying that one type of person is better than the other.  Everyone is different and that is what makes us all special.  Just figure out what suits you best and make the decision, then keep going forward.

Good luck to you.  Please post and let us know what you decide.

I'd take it in a heartbeat.
The other thing is since the hours are good, and you'd be off in the summer, you could probably pick up a part-time gig in the summer as an IC.  You'll always have your transcription background to fall back on, but I'd say GO FOR IT!!  Good luck!  Let us know!!!  Keep in touch!!!
I would jump on B in a heartbeat
Not much frustration there.
I would hire you in a heartbeat...

for all of the reasons mentioned in your post, and then some.

I would work in the office in a heartbeat
if it meant a liveable wage and no more sending of OUR jobs to INDIA. Working at home holds no great thrill to me.  It's the paycheck that matters.  This work-at-home thing is what started all this fiasco but nobody wants to give up their flexibility blah blah blah.
I would jump on it in a heartbeat as long as
it is a reputable company.
Be glad I am not your boss. I would fire you in a heartbeat.

You want us to have "O" work? They would track that complaint in a heartbeat.

communication and reality.

Talk about your drugs or your dinners.  Pass over MQ.  We won't mind a bit.  Our lives are rough enough already without biting comments.

We are trying to dig out of the quagmire MQ/Philips has put us into.  Like I've said, MTing is no longer a profession or can be considered a "real job".  At best it is pickup work or sideline extra non-necessary money because one certainly can't depend on the money.

Went through that exact same thing with EDiX. They sent that stuff overseas in a heartbeat, and the
