symptoms until age 56 to 57. Then skipped a couple of periods here and there. Finally at 57 had some bleeding - turned out to be a fibroid which was removed. No other symptoms. Finally stopped about a year ago with only one period 4 months ago. NOW at 58 to 59, I'm having hot flashes now and then. Otherwise, I've been pretty lucky. I guess it is different for every individual. Good luck!!!
