Is this possible?

I am in my 30s and have been MTing FT for only 4 mos.  This past mo, I have noticed when there is absolute silence, I hear a white noise like sound - kind of when you walk out of a rock concert into the relative quiet of the street. 

My hearing seems just fine otherwise, but during complete silence I get the rushing sound in my ears.

      • I have bilateral tinnitus and HATE it. White noise or radio softly on helps get my mind off of it. - nm

    • I have drainage too and a ton of ear wax! YUK! I lavage my ears with a bulb syringe and warm saline - KYMT
      • Used headsets... - sm
        • we HAD to use USED headphones - MQMT
      • Once a week, I clean my headset ears with alcohol. - I can hear them now! *-)
