My suspicion actually is...

my age is the determining factor. My health insurance would cost considerably more, and I am wondering if their fear, also, is possibility of Worker's Compensation type claims as I have been doing it this long. It's just a little depressing. I certainly wish I could be working part time at this age, but it looks like I am going to be doing this until Social Security age.

I do wonder about the other, but you would think if they were interested in my skills and potential that they would at least contact me and THEN ask about that specifically, then I could explain in detail. If they offer the option of whether or not they can contact your current employer, I am also guessing that it's not that uncommon for people NOT to want them to contact their current employer.

I have a sneaking suspicion the people I'm seeing on TV

Unfortunately high suspicion is not hard evidence.

I told her things to watch for and that there is an anonymous tip line she can report them to if they are getting high while driving and on the job. That tip line is more for a suspicious house though, dealer w/ cars coming and going all the time.  I don't think you can call the cops and say "I think my boss is on drugs and hires tweekers" and they will be able to do anything about it without warrants or other solid proof.

I was looking at the laws about drug testing in the workplace, and the message I got was that the little guy might as well forget it, leave drug testing to bigger companies, and to be really careful about how you go about it if you do test. Not to mention alcoholics, who have a "disease."  The BBB doesn't handle this type of complaint, either.

Follow your intuition. For you to bring it to this board says something about your suspicion!
What is his reason? How often does he do this? Is the door closed and/or locked when they bathe together. To be naked in this day and time with a little girl is unnatural for a man to do. IMHO. I have read too many stories in the papers, saw too much of it on the news. Watch out for your little girl, hubby or not, you owe it to your daughter.
Name a state and put every company in that state under suspicion.

Tell what the first letter of the company is and every company with that initial will be suspect.  I would imagine that everyone who works for that company has received an inquiry from department of labor, so they would all be aware of it.

Why do we persist in setting up companies to be torn down when there is no reason for it.  If a company is suspect, then give the name of the company, don't give big hints that cover at least 5 companies, 4 of which may be the best companies to work for, but fall into the category of an alphabetical letter, etc.
