My take on it

You ask, "When do you know it is the right time to move on?"

If you find yourself asking this question, the time is NOW. There is never a perfect, convenient time to move on, but if you're not satisfied, don't waste any more valuable time.

People DO NOT change. Your husband will be the same person 20 years from now that he is today. That's just the way it is.

We are responsible for our own happiness, and for that of our children until they are adults. I say bail now while you're still a young woman and your life is still fixable.

After age 40 you're pretty much stuck with whatever crap you have made for yourself up to that point, but it you start fixing things now you have a chance at making your life a happy and satisfying one.

How do I know? I've been there.

Good luck, my friend.
