Serving Over 20,000 US Medical Transcriptionists

No way out but through.

I just finished my medical transcription course and got certified.

Certified usually means "CMT" or Certified Medical Transcriptionist through AHDI. If you don't have this, don't say you're certified and don't bother getting the CMT, it's not worth the paper it's written on. If you do have this, what a waste but oh well.

Is it always going to be this hard to find a job.

Yes it's always going to be this hard to find a job. Unless you don't mind working for 6 or 5 or 4 cpl. Then it should be pretty easy.

Everyone wants experience. How do I get experience, if noone will give me a chance?

You either give up or you keep trying. The good news is, at least the choices are limited in this regard.

Does anyone have suggestions how to get my first job?

Try for an internship with a big national that hires newbies.

Please help!
