I am 43. Have a degree in Accounting. Had a job making $810 a month with a dress code. Took civil service. First job I accepted was for a VAMC transcriber GS4 level. I stuck with it for 2 years. Got back into my field but always kept this as a sideline. Now it is my primary source of income. I have a payroll/tax service on the side. Started in 1986 transcribing.
