bulb in the fixture today. Too tired from working all week. I had plans for this weekend that I had to cancel, too. This guy pays pretty well, though. Then he dumped more work on me Thursday night without telling me, but he accidentally put it in the same place as the completed jobs were. Last night he called wanting to know why I didn't have his work done yet. Now I get to work the weekend again after getting griped at for his error.

My dream is definitely not MT either. I have an inkling of what I want to do, but I don't know if it's just a pipe dream or not. It would probably also be feast or famine independent contractor work. At least it would be fulfilling. Speaking of eBay, I have a couple of auctions that ended today. LOL How 'bout you? What do you want to be when you grow up?

Some of the brightest women (and men) I have met
in my lifetime have been MTs. Some could have gone on to medical school but did not due to obligations to family. In my younger years, worked with more than a few who helped put their husbands through college.

The field is different now. I blame it on the schools in part and also the mistaken belief that you can do this work and be an attentive stay-at-home mom.
