ohhhh, so right!!
you certainly took the words right out of my mouth -- anyone who asks me what I do and I say I do medical transcription from home they go oh, that sounds so good that you get to work from home and I tell them I would not recommend anyone to get into medical transcription now -- you are so right, it doesn't get any better -- everything in this industry is on a down hill roll and it's not good.  What really upsets me are those schools that you see on TV and in magazines who flash those ads about making really good money -- in your dreams -- excuse me, some do still make good money but it's a small percentage compared to what it used to be 5-10 years ago -- everyone could make good money doing it, but not any more not with the direction this industry has taken.  So please don't waste your money on those schools who will only take it and when you're done with the classes you're on your own and it is surely a rude awakening when you hit the streets.  I'm like you I really wish I would have considered something else, but we can't go back, we can only go forward.
Ohhhh!!! We're going to see you on the
Food Network competing with those incredible works of art and watch you carry them to the table and hold our breath to see if they crash?!?!?!! OOoooohhh, you have my greatest respect!!!! HOW EXCITING AND DARING!!!!!
Ohhhh, the TEMPTATION...
... sent my team lead an e-mail message asking what to do when the patient being dictated on is a brand-new newborn baby, who apparently does not have an account in the system yet, and thus no demographic information can be found for the patient.

She wrote back and actually asked again if the dictation was on the baby or the mother.

I would not have asked the question if it had been the mother, who has an account in the system. Honestly, I am not THAT dumb. But I was good. I refrained from pointing this out, and merely answered "yes, it's the baby."
