When a person assumes....
they are usually wrong and you are assuming as being an Editor that I am not. Oh, so wrong on your part. That is the title I also have. You brought up the "seasoned" at 18 years, not me. I guess you might have thought I was a newbie talking when you gave out the 18 years and I have almost double that amount. I do not claim to be an authority on anything, I think life is an ongoing experience with things to learn every day of a person's life. I again say just having an RN license does not make a person able to transcribe.
Good example how MT assumes co. is looking

MTs assume company is looking out for the MTs best interest. Wishful thinking. The co. looks out for THE COMPANY.  Bottom line, it is business, not a bunch of friends "playing office."  MTs need to start looking at it that way also. Periodic, at least, checks of line counts and correct paychecks and checking on how the company figures are arrived at is necessary.  MTs need to look out for themselves, just like the companies do.  Ask questions, lots of questions. It is your right to know.
