Sorry - I said there were "ways" and then gave you only one.

The other option is to experiment with the location of the wireless access point (AP or WAP, also "wireless router") that you already have to see if that improves your coverage. Some people pick up an inexpensive "wi-fi detector" that has a signal indicator and use that. You would take the detector to the places where you want coverage but don't have it, and have someone move the WAP to different locations while you see if a signal is detected at each of these points.

As a side note, I've also noted that certain brands of WAPs don't seem to have the coverage of others. I like DLink and Netgear best, Belkin the least.
