Question

I work for an oncologist and I am no longer IC. I am on the doctor's payroll.

Should I ask him to provide plain paper? He does not want me to use his nice linen paper for progress notes that are going out to doctors only on new patients.

Please let me know what you'll think - thanks

  • Do you think Dr. buys paper for office or do - employees buy it? Of course, the dr. does. nm
    • Dr will probably just have OM get you some - packs of paper from their supply. nm
  • When worked in clinic, Dr. supplies everything - we requested/needed, uniforms,office supplies

      • Why not? What difference doe it make if home - or in-house? He is still the employer. nm
        • If you were IC would be different. Keyboard - example below makes no diff. home or office.

  • If boss said I want U to use brand X keyboard, - would you expect him to supply it or U buy it?
  • Yes, but TELL him you need paper. Employer - should provide U with tools to do your job. nm
