| Question re: I/CPosted By: Frankie on 2009-03-10In Reply to:

I am assuming I/C stands for independent contractor, right?
I am new to the I/C concept.  I have been an MT for 6+ years, but have always worked at a hospital.  Looking at jobs on-line and some of them state I/C only.  How do you become an I/C?  What steps are required, do you have your own equipment, what type of software, what do you charge, etc.  Any information would be great and much appreciated.  Please no harsh/bashing comments. Thanks in advance.
