I lost my husband seven months ago, and I still cry almost daily. I went through grief counseling through a local hospice organization which was very helpful. Maybe you could locate something like that in your area? Know that things will get better. Already you have probably learned that you will survive the tidal waves of grief that sometimes sweep over you. I was told that eventually there are more and more periods of time between these waves. I was also told that it typically takes one to even two years to recover from a loss, so hang in there. Though you will never forget your father, you will remember with less pain.
