I do editing and just love it, too. I think a lot of the problem could be that not everyone has had a good initial experience with it and now avoid it.

With a good account, it's possible to more than double your productivity and thus increase your income, not to mention the reduction of stress on hands, wrists, arms, etc. I enjoy it so much I actually kinda dread it when a job requiring regular transcription pops onto my screen, lol!
