Doing the whole research thing.  Have investigated several schools, both 2-year associate degree programs, classroom or online (huge bucks) and shorter online courses (smaller bucks, but still sizeable) that offer the training.  Not throwing down any money until I'm quite sure it won't be wasted. 


Through a friend I found somebody who works in that profession.  Buying her coffee next week to pick her brain and ask her about prospects and her opinion of training modalities   Gonna schedule an 'informational interview' with a local company that hires in the field, too. 


Can't really take a school's word on any of this, for sure.  They'll all tell you it's a growth industry, sky's the limit, blah, blah, blah.  This would be my third actual career...... First one lasted 15 years.   I really thought MT was it, and has been for the last 15 years. Never too old to start over, I guess. Live and learn.
