the line counter is not working properly, that it is being worked on and that you will receive credit for all your lines on your paycheck and not to worry. Your question to them should be: How am I to know that I have not achieved the daily requirement if the standard for measuring that requirement is not working?

I'm sorry you had such a rude awakening to SS, but count this as a lesson in the school of hard knocks and go on about your merry way. There are plenty of other companies out there who will deal with you honestly and treat you with the respect you deserve.
