I don't care for them either, although I've never paid them much attention, simply because their charges are much too high for the people they're supposed to be representing, bringing into serious question just who they're serving.
But blaming one little organization for the Information Age with its communications revolution, the political ascendency and internationalization of business, and the healthcare funding and insurance crises is like blaming a leaf for blowing in the wind.
Please, let's raise the level of discourse somewhat. What do they do with all that money? Anyone know? I'd like to think they were buying votes in Congress; at least that might explain why they charge so much and potentially give better (albeit temporary) results than just spitting into the wind.
