What I know...

AND..it isn't much really. My mother had MS, and I for the past few months have been going through testing for diagnosis of this disease. The symptoms I have are these:

*Eye pain with decreased vision..blurry. Right bilateral hemianopsia
*nystagmus
*weakness in my right leg, sometimes I can't feel it
*Extreme fatigue at times..but not all the time.
*Extreme forgetfulness...example: hard to name basic everyday items...the 'it's on the tip of my tongue' feeling...forgetting close friends names, etc....

These symptoms are not all of the symptoms I have experienced...these are just the ones I see more often then others. On the other hand some days are AWESOME...and I think...wow..nothing is wrong with me! Then, just like Emeril *BAM* it hits you! Out of the blue...a symptom like loss of vision in your right eye..for no reason..just because. Lasts a day or even a few hours then gone again...
Also, I have been diagnosed with brain atrophy...thanks to a CAT scan & an MRI.

What I do know....MS is elusive and very hard for doc's to diagnose! So, round and round I go! My best advice....see your doctor and be candid about your symptoms! I will think 'good' thoughts for you! Good Luck & let me know what happens!

Hugs!
