.....only the people who are supplying that money...it's called taxes. I personally have a great deal of problem with passing out debit cards that may be used to buy illegal drugs and alcohol. I believe the government could do a whole lot better, like making the checks payable directly to the apartment complex for housing, the car dealership for a vehicle, etc. THAT I have no problem with but what happens to those who get the $2000 and still are no closer to taking care of themselves than before they got the $2000? They'll be back for another $2000 and another and another. And don't tell me there are none of "that kind" who are going to be getting the cash. Yep, I have a problem with the $2000 debit cards.
