Life does not always work out as you planned.  My only point is that I think more people could plan better.  I tell my girls that no matter what birth control you are using, when you lay down in a bed with a man, you might arise pregnant.  That's a chance you take.   If you don't want to take the chance, stay out of the bed.  Nobody ever died from lack of sex.  Having said that... If you cut out the pregnancies that result from girls trying to trap their boyfriends, "hook ups" and one-night-stands while boozed up, and stupid teenagers thinking babies are "fun", you'd be left with some basically responsible people, who like yourselves, had a birth control failure and lived up to their responsibilities.  We can never eliminate, but we certainly could reduce it.
