Yes, I do know the circumstances of said visit, because I typed the entire report! My "judgment" of abuse of ER resources is based on that, which is all the evidence that is required.


And no, I don't believe an earache falls under this category. Earaches can be extremely painful (I've had my share) and if you can't get in to see your PCP or even an Urgent Care, then yes I think ER is the way to go.
