You are blaming a woman in labor for not taking her 2-year-old to the hospital w/her? The driver just felt a bump? Maybe it was raining? Are you out of your mind? Do you live in the real world? What you *believe* in is totally irrelevant to this situation. You are a fool.

You should probably get some psychiatric help - for the benefit of the world, if not yourself.

Upstairs
Had the exact same problem.  You are right about the What Ifs regarding if you tell on her, etc.  Will only make things worse.  What I did was try to become friendly with the upstairs neighbor, as best I could.  Here's what you do then:  Invite her into your place (for some cookies you just made, or to show her something you bought for the wall or the window,etc.). Then, when she is comfortable and is YOUR GUEST, IN YOUR HOUSE, you can every so politely let her know that even though you know she cannot help but make noise (blame it on the thin walls and ceilings), you would appreciate if she could try to keep things at little quieter at say, between 11 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. (or whatever).  That way, she will be more inclined to really accept what you are telling her, since she is a guest in your home and will be less inclined to argue.  And secondly, should she turn into a nasty neighbor with no regard to the rights of the other tenants, you can say with a clear conscience that you tried POLITELY and PERSON TO PERSON to take care of the situation by discussing it with her privately before having to go to the landlord (who, believe me, takes care of the squeaky wheels in the building as long as you pay your rent on  time).  Good luck to you!!!!!
