I have two suggestions. I am not sure they will help, but you sound as if you are willing to try anything. I have two programs that help alot with situations such as yours. First is a program called Registry Mechanic. I believe it costs about $30 and you have to resubscribe annually at $29, but to me it is well worth the cost. It cleans out unneeded items from your registry. I use it daily. another program, which I have found invaluable, and it is free to download, is called CrapCleaner. (yep, that's the name). It has two areas to analyze and clean out. Applications and Issues. Run them both and you will be surprised what it finds and takes out. It will empty out your history, so if you have anything in the drop down search box that you use frequently, it will remove it, so write down all addresses first. Another problem I had also was with my internet security program, which I use PC-Cillin. I had purchased the 2006 version and it was great. then along came the 2007 update and my computer went into mollases drive. I couldn't deal with it any more, removed it, and reinstalled the 2006 version. I have been happy ever since. If neither of these things helps, maybe it IS their problem and not yours. I wish you all kinds of luck, as I know how frustrating lag problems can be.
