this is true. It's not right, but they can ask you to do whatever (unless you have a contract) and you are obligated to do it. we don't get to pick and choose which tasks we will do. It's not right, but they can do it. I am a coder, but when I worked on sight there were many nights when I was working in the filing room putting papers in alpha order and many nights when we were scanning papers into our EHR. They are the boss. you are their employee. that gives them all the power. Remember, they can fire you for refusing an assigned task.
