any MTs who have Multiple Sclerosis?

Hi, I want to do the Career Step program, but I've just been diagnosed with MS. I'm worried it might affect my dexterity/typing speed and/or cognitive, start to slow me down, possibly to the point I'm not professionally or educationally competitive.

I'm wondering if there are any MT's out there with MS who can give me some feedback on how it affects their work.

Many people with MS work from home to conserve their energy, so I bet there must be a lot of ex-nurses, etc. who could no longer work on their feet all day who became MTs.

I would really appreciate any feedback anyone has.

PS I type about 55 wpm, wondering how effective is the typing speed and accuracy improvement training from Career Step. I've been typing for a long time and afraid my bad habits may be ingrained.

Thank you very much for any info.  ~MKJ
