That is what the hospital I worked for called it. Yes, the MTs had to do it, but it was computerized so easy to do, and oh ya we were paid hourly *(although we had to maintain a line count average of 165 an hour)*.

I don't think they should expect you to do it, unless you are getting a bonus or some kind of benefit for doing it, unless you are being paid a high amount per lines that you do transcribe on this account.

Maybe ask them about it if you feel comfortable.
