Bush is not to blame entirely for this economic crisis. This has been a long time coming with many politicans involved including the democrats. They didn't tell us that this financial crisis was coming until it was too late. Therefore...government failed us. The people who tried to stop FM/FM were stopped by the democrat controlled congress. When are you going to get that this crisis started back with Clinton when he started this whole subprime mortgage crap. Democrats have had control of congress for the past two years and each time a bill has been brought forth by a republican to stop FM/FM, the dems voted against it and stopped them. Why can't some of you Obama supporters see this? Are you THAT blind? Government as a WHOLE screwed us all and that includes both republicans AND democrats.
How does Obama want to restore balance? If he wins the white house and the congress is controlled by the democrats...there will be nothing balanced about that. He will be able to pass whatever extreme left ideas he wants to. That isn't balanced. That is absolute control.
Gun control? He wants guns taken out of inner city school areas as well as Washington D.C. and yet he says he won't take guns away from people because they have a right to bear arms. Talk about a contradiction. You can own guns....just not here....and here....and here....and here. I want to protect myself against anyone wanting to harm myself or my family. You can call me paranoid all you want, but I do know people who have personally been robbed and my husband lost a very close friend when someone broke into her home and she was brutally murdered to the point her own parents couldn't hardly recognize her body. If you take away the guns from the good responsible owners....you still won't stop the criminals from getting them illegally...therefore leaving the honest and responsible people defenseless.
