Well, it certainly gives me more pause than abstinence and sex education.
You know, not everyone was born in Boston...
and not everyone expresses himself/herself in the way you wish they would. That does NOT diminish their abilities. You still come off as sounding very condescending. I don't live in Boston and I don't have a master's degree, and I know a lot of "Joe six-packs." Who, incidentally, are very fine and not uneducated people. She does have a degree in journalism. She is not uneducated. Obama does not have a depth and breadth of experience, no more than she does. She has executive experience, he doesn't. He doesn't have foreign policy experience; that is why he has Joe Biden and 300 foreign policy advisors. She has balanced the state budget and has had surpluses which she returned to her constituents. She is very honest and open...much more so than Obama OR Biden.

As to Sean Hannity...I know who he is, but I don't watch him much. I don't watch TV period much. If Mr. Hannity agrees with what I am saying, perhaps I need to watch him more often. Geezzz again. I did not say anything about immigrant children not being able get along with...as you prefer to call them..."Anglo" children. If they immigrate legally and learn the language they can communicate just fine. You said it yourself...they WILL learn. So why not step down off your high horse and not WORRY yourself as to whether "Anglo" children learn Spanish...worry about whether the "immigrant" children learn English.
You know....what you SHOULD be saying is you have multicultural AMERICANS in your midst. I just don't get you at all globetrotter. Why do you insist on keeping legal immigrants separate from you? Why don't you see Americans instead of Cuban, Jamacian, Pureto Rican, Costa Rican, Honduran, Guatemalan, El Salvadoran, Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, Filipino, Pakistani, Indian, Afgani, Iranian, Iraqi, Jordanian, Syrian, Palestinian, Lebanese, Israeli, Egyptian, Turkish, Russian, Greek, Bosnian, Somali, Kenyan, Sudanese, Ethiopian, South African, Angolan and Nigerian presence in your midst. If they want to immigrate to America, they must have a reason. They should assimilate to our culture, not we to theirs, and there is nothing WRONG with that. Every one of those people chose to leave their own countries for whatever reason to come to this one. Helloo..things must not be so wonderful there??
I am sure you would like to leave Kruschev out of this...a little to close to the truth for you. As for doing their homework...I would suggest you do some yourself my dear. We are a country of immigrants...those who came legally, Irish, French, English, German, Dutch, Swede and too many others to count. And do they carry swiss flags, german flags, Irish flags, the Union Jack, and demonstrate on the streets? No....because they became Americans. THIS became their country. Yes, they kept their customs, their heritage, just as I have kept mine...Cherokee, Choctaw, Irish, Swede...I am proud of that heritage as well. But I am an American, globetrotter. This is my country. And that is the unity we are losing in the name of YOUR multiculturalism. You want us to be Cubans, Ethiopians, yada yada. I want us to be Americans. And I don't see a problem with that. You can still have all your art, your music, your restaurants, yada yada...we had those things before immigrants decided to change this to something besides the United States of America. And the fact that you are right on board with them speaks volumes. Won't say volumes of what.

Obama's suspension request draws IMMEDIATE PRAISE from across the globe.
A few hours after being sworn in, US President Barack Obama has asked prosecutors to seek a suspension of Guantanamo military trials, a decision welcomed by the world as a first step towards its closure.
"In the interests of justice, and at the direction of the president of the US and the secretary of defense, the government respectfully requests the military commission grant a continuance of the proceedings," said prosecution documents cited by Agence France Presse (AFP).
Obama wants all pending cases, including the trial of five on charges of plotting 9/11 and Canadian Omar Khadr for allegedly killing a US soldier in Afghanistan, suspended for 120 days.
"[This would] permit the newly inaugurated president and his administration time to review the military commissions process, generally, and the cases currently pending before military commissions, specifically."
Military judges will decide on Obama's request later on Wednesday, January 21.
The special military tribunals for Guantanamo detainees were established in 2006 by the Bush administration to try them under separate rules from regular civilian or military courts.
The Bush administration has declared the hundreds of detainees held at Guantanamo as unlawful enemy combatants to deny them legal rights under the American legal system.
Twenty-one people have been charged and 14 out of an estimated 245 remaining prisoners have appeared before judges.
The Pentagon had refused to unveil the body of evidence to justify the prisoners' continued detention, claiming it would endanger national security.
Obama has vowed to close the notorious detention center.
His attorney general designate Eric Holder said this month that the military commissions did not provide enough legal protections to the defendants and that the Obama team was already taking steps to close Guantanamo.
