Changes I would like to see

1) Our country get back to basics. Something is seriously wrong when celebrities and athletes get paid MILLIONS more than teachers and firefighters and those who risk life and limb to keep us safe.

2) In my perfect world, everyone would accept Christ and get saved and we would all live in Christian love (I know I'll get bashed for this one, but hey, that is a change that would be AMAZING to see!) I know it will never happen, but I can dream!

3) I seriously think something needs to be done about welfare and "section 8" housing. It upsets me when I see someone living in government housing for $60 a month but they drive a brand new Escalade. Come on.

4) I'd like to see us rely on local farmers for food and veggies instead of big corporations. Not only would it be healthier, it would boost local economy I think.

5) I think we need to stop the fast rate of crap that is shown on television. Even if your not religious, you have to admit that some of the stuff shown on TV these days is just vulgar and unnecessary. Whether we want to believe it or not, it affects us. If not us, definitely the kids.

6) Healthcare. There are so many people without it in this country, it's ridiculous. Then these folks end up even deeper in the hole when something happens and they have to go to the ER or have surgery and end up tens of thousands of dollars in debt. Something has to change.

7) Education. College should be available to everyone without having to take out huge loans.

I have others but I have files coming in so I have to go. Just some of my ideas! Have a great day! :-D
