Bible meetings are held in many homes REGULARLY. They are not conducting business. They are discussing God's Word and praying. Some people live so far out in the country, too far from churches, that REGULAR Bible meetings are held in the homes on REGULAR basis. Same sex marriage is not a right for anyone. Homosexuals are not denied any rights that anyone else isn't denied. I think Tupperware is a business the last time I checked.

Michelle resigned her position after the election as she would be moving to Washington. She was not let go. She was on a paid leave of absence during the election.
And the hospital continued to provide some indigent care to the tune of 10 million dollars, just not as much as the national average.
I still do not see the harm in giving some patients rides to other hospitals if they are not there for life threatening injuries and are only there abusing the system because they have a cold, have medicare, and did not want to go to the doctor during the day!!!

What Michelle Obama did WAS illegal.... she was taking govt dollars which was DIRECTLY intended for charity patients, regardless of ER or where, but she booted them out and sent then to surrounding hospitals which were NOT receiving govt dollars for charity patients. She knew exactly what she was doing was wrong and she was spear heading the committed to do these acts.....
The entire purpose of all those MILLIONS of taxpayer dollars were to make room for the indigent patient, regardless of ER visits or what, so the hospital could not say they didn't have the funds to treat them. Because people found out and reported her transgressions, the hospital put her on leave because they were hoping everything would quiet down. When it did not, she was quietly let go of her position with no one put in that position....the position was done away with!! This ONLY happened because her husband was a state senator....plain and simple. What she was doing was illegal. Yep, they are soooo worried about those poor people without healthcare. Yep, they thought that $317 THOUSAND dollar position was soooo important, they just did away with it completely after they booted her out!
Excuse me, but as president, Obama had EVERY opportunity to NOT allow lobbyists up there, but he has his OWN lobbyists pushing HIS OWN agendas! Lets not find excuses for poor pitiful little Obama. This is one area where he could shut the door on lobbyists and said he would but he flat OUT LIED, LIED, LIED, which is no surprise to many of us.
Lets not get side tracked on the tobacco issue. Obama couldn't care less about pushing a tobacco agenda except he has decided HE doesn't want to smoke, so only now does it become an issue to him and sucking in MORE TAXES for his agendas. Lets not confuse his reasoning or purpose.... he doesn't give a rat's butt who smokes or how young they start. If he weren't trying to quit, this wouldn't be an issue.

I grew up in the 60s when racial tensions were extremely high, and we knew what was racist and what was not racist, and this cartoon is definitely racist. You really don't want to go back to that horrible time and place, so if we can inform others to show just a little bit of compassion and/or respect to others, it will go a long way to soothe the underlying tensions that still exist.

Homeless people living on park benches, however, would only have to hear about Obama spreading the wealth and they would be on board for Barrack Obama therefore giving him more votes. I am totally disgusted by the corruption in this election. The voter registration fraud as well as the voter fraud that has happened is just plain wrong. Letting homeless people with no address vote is just opening up a chance for more voter fraud. Taking away the right of our armed forces to vote because of a glitch is just wrong. They are fighting and risking their lives and we can't even do right by them when it comes to making THEIR vote count. Of all people in this country, don't you think they have the most right to vote. They are the ones fighting for us while we sit here and complain about everything from the safety of our computers.

I put him in the same boat as Rush, although I have to admit not as bad as Rush. Some of Savage's ideas I like, some I don't agree with. I like how he takes someone who is spewing utter garbage and puts them in their place with facts to back it up. He is pretty smart in that regard. Once we heard him and some caller was going on and on and Michael Savage told him he didn't know what he was talking about. They guy was getting so irate and Savage called him a rabbid dog foaming at the mouth then hung up on him. I can't tell you how hard we were laughing in the car thought DH was going to drive off the road.
I'll tell ya though. If I'm in the car and they are on the radio we will listen to them. We do take everything with a grain of salt because they all have motives.

Last week when Bush presented the initial bill, wonder of wonders, would you believe it, the democrats where anxious to prove they were bipartisan and could have passed the bill he requested, not agreeing with everything but trying to come together for the good of the country. The republicans said no, we want some input, dems agreed and the conditions were added that the repubs asked for, now they are voting against a bill that has what they asked for in it, a bill that their republican president is asking for.

For someone who preaches God's Word and claims to live by them, you seem to have no problem judging someone for their sins. You think people should hide their sins because they are ashamed of them but you can't hide your sins from God. The only thing you can hide your sins from or at least try to hide them from are other people and that just makes you a hypocrit in my book. Yes, we lead by example but we also have to show people that we too make mistakes and can overcome that. Hiding our sins just makes us fake.

An obvious question would be...
why would anyone wait until you are sick to get insurance? That is like trying to get flood insurance when they have 2 feet of water in their house. I don't think anyone should expect an insurance company to insure them in either case. If an insurance company was forced to insure a person who waited until they were sick to get insurance, who had not paid one premium prior to that...how unfair is that to the people who have paid premiums into that company for years and had not had a claim, their premiums would go to take care of a person who never sought insurance until they were sick. Plus, if insurance companies were forced to do that...within a month several thousand people who had insurance would stop paying insurance premiums and not try to get insurance back until they got sick. No premiums, no money to pay out, insurance company goes belly up and no one has insurance. I am not sure exactly where you are going with this...maybe I am misunderstanding?

But she is not running for President, and when it comes to this people always say leave Cindy McCain alone even though she's said and done some whoppers in the past. As for Barack sitting down with our enemies - you better count on it if we ever plan to get along with other countries. I really think all of these "bail-outs" were actually a long time in the planning and went off according to schedule. The way the Wall Street bail out was handled, just give them the cash, no oversight, a 2 page application, etc. tells it's own story. The salaries and bonuses given to the CEOs is nothing short of disgusting. Yet people have the unmitigated gall to whine because union workers earn a decent living. Working class people should be squarely behind the UAW workers and AGAINST the CEOs who are begging for our money while flying to the begging table in their private jets. Heck most of us when we fly have to take coach class. First class is reserved for the like of the Victoria Olsteens. At least they aren't rich enough YET to afford their private jet.
Your husband may as well go on down to Washington and ask for a handout but I doubt he'll get it.....now if the real estate commission in your state went, they MIGHT get a bail out that wouldn't even trickle down to your husband. Bush and Cheney care not one iota for common people.....witness their "so what?" and "so?"
