with my horses and my Corgis. That is something the whole family enjoys. No deep thinking, just pure enjoyment.

Totally off the subject also...I get creeped out seeing Bill and Hillary and Chelsea together...they look more like business partners than family. Very weird dynamic going on there. At least Fred married the younger woman and they have two beautiful kids together, and actually look like they care about each other. Hard to find fault with that, at least for me.

And totally off the subject again...John Kerry creeped me out from day one, even before the botox. Yikes. lol. And Richard Nixon...even pictures of him creep me out.

Enough of this...Corgis need attention.

God bless, and have a good evening!

nah, doesn't work...they're still here, and I barely watch anything that's...sm
called entertainment.

They're still here....

If they McCain-Palin do win, I will keep the sign in the yard....
however if Obama wins, I already have my "Don't blame me, I didn't vote for him" sign ready to go up. I suspect I will need it really soon. lol.
just stole an Obama sign for my yard -- anyone else?
heck, they had two of them and i wanted one... just couldn't help myself.  turned off the car lights, snuck up in the field, snatched it and sped away... now my yard is adorned with a lovely Obama sign... so bad, but feels so very, very good.
The school yard bully/"I was here first" approach
is pretty juvenile, don't you think? Besides, it does not hold water. I hate to break this to you, but the Philistines showed up in the region around the same time that the Hebrews did, around the 12th century BC. The history of civilization did not ensue with the Biblical Hebrews and Palestinian presence predates your Moslem invasion era reference. In fact, since the habitation of the region predates recorded history by nearly a million years, there is no way you can gain any traction with that ridiculously juvenile line of thinking. There is no such thing as paleolithic, neolithic or chalcolithic squatters. So, you see, my view of history is not as short-sighted as yours, which does not go back quite far enough, unless you have some special license to begin it "whenever it suits your purpose."

In any case, that is why no viable debate can be had outside the context of modern (i.e., nationalist/political) times. Like I said before, please leave God out of the ungodly. The fact remains that the geographic regions populated by Philistines/Palestinians have stayed relatively intact under all sorts of invasions and occupations, including the Persians, Hellenistic, Hasmonean, Roman, Byzantine, Arab Caliphates, including Umayyad, Abbasid, Fatimid rule, the Crusades, Mamluk, Egyptian and Ottoman eras....all the way up until the Brits got their hands on it in 1917 and even beyond that for a few decades, until the Partition Plan was instituted. This represents approximately 3147 years of continuous residence. Your finder's keepers thingy applies to both the Hebrew Biblical era as well as modern day fascist Israel. Palestine does not belong to you. Never has. Never will.

Who failed to honor cease fire preconditions by failing to lift the blockade, braniac? Do not try to pretend we are talking about the red rivers of blood from (how few is it now?) the 9 (?) Israeli fatalities. Israel sits on top of generations of their very own road kill.

Isn't it time to watch Hannity or bowl or some other watch Nascar?
UR W T
Not exactly my favorite....lol (sm)

But he does actually look at issues.  I think he often takes on the role of the bad guy to try to prove a point, and he's taken out of context often because of that.

Speaking of transparency, they are starting a new website called recovery.org.  I've already been there, and there isn't anything on there yet, but the purpose of it is to show where all the money goes once Obama passes the stimulus package.  That should be interesting.  I already have my calculator ready....lol.

That's their favorite tactic! sm
All "neocons" are liars.  It has to be true because they say so.  They don't know what neocon means.  It's a catch phrase they hear in the liberal media and they think they are being cool using it.
They were just using one of your favorite words
or do you own the copyright of the word liar?
Perhaps one of my most favorite quotes...from

a plain-spoken man who I admire...Will Rogers.

"I love a dog. He does nothing for political reasons."

Yep, and don't forget...your favorite....
the Terminator....lol...
That was my favorite part
of the dog and pony show...boy wonder being flustered when asked the Biden question. He clearly doesn't like Biden; but was too wimpy to pick Hillary.

How is this considered effective and balanced political debate?

You two are....peas in a pod....twins joined at the brain....

actually more like a ventriloquist and his buddy. Just not sure which one's hand is up which one's back. "I second that." "Oh I just got goose bumps." lol. Gotta love you two. So entertaining.

My favorite is SR's "We don't know what plan is"
nm
Forced into that positin by your favorite...
political party, the DEMOCRATS. McCain told them this was coming in 2005. Sponsored legislation to look closer at Fannie/Freddie. The Democrats (big money buddies with Freddie/Fannie) blocked it. And here we are...Freddie/Fannie started the freefall. And let's not forget Barney Frank...another Democrat...pushing Fannie/Freddie to make those subprime loans to minorities and low income folks who did not have a hope in heck of paying it back. Most with no credit or bad credit. And THOSE are the people we are bailing out. Wonder how many of THEM are Democrats??

Yes, it is form of socialism, but at least we do not have SOCIALISTS in charge of it. If we elect Obama, we WILL have a hard core socialist in control.

Be careful what you ask for.
Have I shown you my favorite pic of our elitist?

There you go...hit on another favorite. Pinto beans...
fried potatoes and cornbread. Yum. Growing up that was a staple for us. And boy did I (and still do) love it!!
My other favorite Ripley line

When she is told of the significant dollar value of the company factory she wants to destroy, she says, 'Well they can BILL me.'   And somehow, that's a pretty pithy saying for the times, too.

By the way, I think fava beans taste nasty.  Can't imagine what you see in them.

FOX news is my favorite. And, I am not jealous of
nm
my favorite place to stay current

on the issues in politics is Media Matters America.  As the name explains, they monitor all forms of media and report on the distortions and misinformation. They give factual rebuttals. They make it a lot easier to sort fact from fiction.

The favorite tactic of the left....you have nothing substantial...
attack and belittle. Don't even realize how it reflects on them...or don't care.
Yea but he didn't have to pre-empt my favorite programs
Judge Joe and Judge Alex. They were gonna be pretty good today. Guess I'll have to wait for re-runs. LOL
garlic and parmesan cheese is my favorite....sm
I wish I really had some....lol
I believe the youngest was named after her favorite band...Van Halen....nm
lol
Same here. I am adding DeFazio and Kaptur to my favorite list. sm
They work for the people. Obama, McCain, and the others who voted for that bailout knowing full well what the consequences were have their lips firmly planted on the behinds of the establishment.
I don't watch Fox, I watch CNN and feel the

Could not watch either. Sm
I could not watch either.  I don't believe a work he says and he makes me ill as well.
You said to watch...

so I did and gave my critique.

I watch so you don't have to

Bill O'Ego is SO desperate to get his "religious" viewers riled up so they will unite and vote repub.  Last night, he was outraged (he and Hannity have so overused that emotion) because a Catholic church in San Fran did not respond with hatred and/or violence when two people presented to church in outlandish outfits to receive communion.  The film shows them standing in line quietly and receiving the wafer and walking away.  O'Ego felt it was a great ATTACK on his religion and felt that this should be BIG-BIG news. Claims the media is covering it up.  He said if HE had been there . . . well . . . you know what a big he-man he is  . . . It is obvious he is trying to divide people.  According to my reading, jesus said turn the other cheek, and love one another. Ann Coulter then appeared and they discussed how she was so innocent and being attacked.  Oh me brothers . . . .

Better watch it.....sm
The kind, loving, nonjudgmental christians on this board will roast you for being anything but what they deem is RIGHT. They'll burn in he11 before anyone else just for being what they are - living a lie.
8 & 11 PM CST watch this

Hannity's America, Foxnews.com.  Investigating Obama's friendships, etc.  Can you handle it?

Incidentally, Mike Huckabee has a new show on Fox, too.  It's also on today, at 7 PM, CST.  The first one last week was really good.

better watch it
I am sure it will make me change my vote and see the light that is McCain-Palin.

Did you watch the one from CNN?
It looks like the same kid.

Look, I wouldn't question it, but he can't tell us to be "our brother's keeper" and then not keep his own brother!

I would just like to see some more walking the talk, ya know? If he is really big into helping the down trodden and lifting up everyone, I'd like to see him out there doing it. And not just to get ahead in politics either (so we can't really count community organizer).
Exactly. Just tax us all or watch our
trillion dollar deficit grow even worse.
Better watch out for........... sm

Watch out....

you will probably be accused of being a racist!  Next up, some witty, snarky acronym for Bush....c'mon, you can do it! BTW, your acronym sums it up.

The thing you guys don't understand (or are ignoring) is that healthcare is a HUGE expense out of the federal budget as it is now.  At this point it is absolutely essential to get that cost under control, which means reform.  Cutting the cost of healthcare and yet making healthcare available to everyone is a win - win situation.

gonna watch it
Im gonna watch the comet explode.  I think its Sunday night.  Gotta check..however, whenever it is, I will be out there watching my beautiful uncluttered unsmogged desert sky.
Watch that propaganda now!
It's simply not true that Cindy Sheehan had "nothing but praise" for Bush and has now done a 360-degree turn. It's Drudge and Limbaugh nonsense with quotes taken out of context and spun to try and seem....what? It's nothing if not illogical. Aren't those intent on smearing her loudly proclaiming that she has been anti-Bush and anti-war since long before her son was killed? Then why would she fall all over herself praising him AFTER her son was killed? It makes no sense at all, but the attackers aren't really big on making sense apparently. They just throw all the garbage at the wall and see what might stick, that's how they operate.

What I really don't get is what the attackers are meaning to say. Even if it were true that Ms. Sheehan "did a 360" - point please? So what? So perhaps she was trying to make the best of a bad bad situation and least be respectful toward the president in consideration of his meeting with her and other family members - but since then, as she says herself, we have had the Downing Street proof, we have learned there were no WMDs at the time we invaded, we have learned all sorts of unbelievably horrible things - why SHOULDN'T anyone let those things change their views?

Now she just wants to know what this "noble" cause is that the President keeps referring to, and she wants to ask him to stop using the dead to justify making more unnecessary dead. But oh no, she must have an AGENDA! - well seems like that's it, isn't it? She wants to know and she wants him to look her in the eye and explain himself. And why shouldn't he? Or more precisely, why can't he seem to be able to do it? If he is sincere in his beliefs and committed to the cause, considering he's such a straight-talking nice guy, what's the problem? What is the big deal? It could all be over with in an hour. Why won't he just do it?
I don't watch O'Reilly. ?????
duh
I don't watch TV. Especially the TV news. Never have. nm

Another reason not to watch FOX! LOL

Can watch the interview at
cnn.com/2008/politics/09/05/palintrooper./index.htm.  Better to see it for yourself.
