had the same dilemma when I first started posting here a few months back. I was the only lib on the scene and posted under the same name all the time. I was relentlessly attacked and stalked by the God Squad as they tried to run me off the board. Eventually, I decided to drop the name and just use dialoge as post intros for one reason. It threw certain relentless stalkers off guard and they could not quite figure out whether they were posting to me or not. It worked well for me to take me out of the bullseye.
Having said that, I admire posters who do keep their identities. In a way, my decision made me feel like a coward/cop-out. It makes it easier for party compadres to find one another...a consideration I did not have to make when I stopped using my name since I was the only lib on the board for weeks at a time. Ultimately, you have to do what makes you the most comfortable. I think I would still recognize you with or without the moniker based on content of your posts....I'd just have to look for them a little harder.
