Given the President’s NSA Surveillance Program and the reinstatement of the Patriot Act, this Nation is in dire need of a Civil Liberties Oversight Board to insure that a proper balance is found between national security versus the protection of our constitutional rights.*
Sure there should be balance, but like most liberals they want to retain the right to complain no matter what happens. They want security, but they don't want people to be inconvenienced by that security.
Typical (limousine) liberal American woman response:
*Don't hold me up at the airport, don't hold me up from getting in the ballgame or the concert, and definitely don't listen to my phone calls. However, if another attack on the country happens I'm going to crucify any (Republican president) for not gaining the intelligence or securing MY borders. Now, if a Dem. president is in the office at the time we reserve the right to blame it all on Bush well into the next two centuries.
Again, don't inconvenience us but protect us. Oh I've got to go. I have a pedicure to get to, out of my way.. my SUV is waiting, but you need to buy a hybrid, really it's better for the environment.*
