stated he was "my beloved Bush" Not one time. However, deregulation was not just pushed through by Bush. Clinton touted it as well, and if memory serves so did Reagan. And zero down was around a LOT longer than Bush was. If you had good credit, you could get a house or a car with no money down years ago. Bush wasn't the first to think of it, nor was he the first to push it. There were just more folks doing it as of late and it was too much at one time. this other issue is that there would also be those screaming too much government or not enough. Either way there is no winner here.
