The Nat. Enquirer? Oh, get a life.
nm
It all goes together, Fox News, The Enquirer
no mystery there, just ignorance
You are quoting from the NATIONAL ENQUIRER! Do you remember.....
All of the stuff they printed and continue to print about Clinton.  I didn't even believe it.  I am sure you didn't either, but it's the old double standard. If they say something YOU want to believe, all of a sudden they are credible.  What a freaking joke.
More information there if you bothered to look....
and much more recent than the Keating 5...4 of whom were democrats.
Me either -and anyone who bothered to research
nm
You seem more bothered about it at this point..
xx
have you bothered to go to your local PD?
x
I don't imagine you bothered to read...
entire thread...but why would you? lol.
If you are bothered by the racism that this election

then what about mysogyny and sexism?

There are some Obama supporters out there sporting some Palin-bashing shirts.

If you dont' like Obama, you are probably a racist, right?

Oh, but there is no hate thrown at Sarah Palin?  Take a look at the link below and see for yourself.

Now, I ask you, are all of you Sarah-haters mysogynists and sexist?

Generalizations will get you nowhere.  Yes, I am sure people won't vote for Obama because he is black, and many blacks will vote for him JUST because he is black, REGARDLESS of his policies.  I think the huge majority of people that aren't voting for him are not in agreement with his policies or don't like his character.  THAT is NOT being racist.  THAT is seeing through the rhetoric and coolness for what he truly stands for and not taking his bait.  No thanks.  I'm voting McCain.

See the link.  (Warning, adults only)

4 Fords & 2 GMs. Never even bothered with Chrysler!
in the case of the Fords, when I could even FIND parts. Planned obsolescence, you know. Tried to get a replacement seat belt for a broken one in my 4-yr-old Ford. 'No longer have any', they told me. So what am I supposed to do then? Junk the car? Illegal to drive without the belt, can't buy a new one, and still paying off the loan. Maybe just tie a good strong rope around myself to hold me in the seat?

Now I've got a sturdy, reliable Toyota. 5 years old when I bought it, and now it's 13 years old. Only thing I've ever replaced is a water pump. That's IT.

Unlike my Fords, when you drive it down the street, you can actually steer it in a straight line without drifting. And unlike my GM, things don't fall off of it every time you slam the door shut or turn on the engine.
Just for you GP...I am not a paid "sm" I am an MT...and if you would have bothered to read...
the links I provided you would have understood why I said it is not over:

Curt Wrotnowksi's case, Wrotnowksi v. Connecticut Secretary of State, has been denied by the U. S. Supreme Court.

Docket #08A469 -- The application for stay and/or injunction addressed to Justice Scalia and referred to the Court is denied.

Update: Judicial review is allowed only after the Electoral College vote and Congressional Certification.

The Justices denied the "stay' but have retained the "certori." It isn’t dead. They’re waiting for the Electoral College to actually elect him. Obama is not President Elect until after the Electoral College "elects" him. Then Congress must approve the Election. Only one senator AND only one representative are needed to stop Obama’s election approval.

Mechanisms exist under the Twelfth Amendment and 3 U.S.C. 15 for any challenge to any candidate to be ventilated when electoral votes are counted, and the Twentieth Amendment provides guidance regarding how to proceed if a president elect shall have failed to qualify.

Issues regarding qualifications or lack thereof can be laid before the voting public before the election and, once the election is over, can be raised as objections as the electoral votes are counted in Congress.

Therefore, this order holds that the challenge presented by plaintiff is committed under the Constitution to the electors and the legislative branch, at least in the first instance. Judicial review, if any, should occur only after the electoral and Congressional processes have run their course.

The federal government does not take official notice of the presidential election until the current Vice President opens the ballots on January 8th; the court is simply acting on this legal fact.

Thank you outside the closet
I have never found so many of her posts offensive. I've really got to turn this board off. You are correct though, she is a closet case. So much that I just stopped reading her posts altogether.

That's all I'm trying to get across we don't need her acceptance. We are finally able to marry whom we want and live our lives the way we want and be able to care for our partners in sickness and in health just like everyone else does. For once the states are coming to their senses. It finally happened when they did away with school segregation, when blacks could ride anywhere they wanted on a bus, could drink from any water fountain they chose, and now we can finally live the lives we want to live and have it "legal".

I'm turning the board off for now to get some work done, and not have a stroke trying to explain common sense and decency towards human kind.
Come on out of that closet!
You know you want to!
Yup, Taiga has come out of the closet

Where did I ever say I don't post under other monikers?

Taiga is the name I have used on the Medquist board for just about as long as this board has been in existence.  I had always thought it wise to keep a political persona separate from a work persona but with all these accusations of fraud and "untruthfulness" I will no longer be using Teddy and will stick to Taiga from now on with any posting I do on the MTStars board.

Actually my original moniker on the political board, going back several years, even back to when both libs and cons were put together under one grouping was "Observer."  When you began posting as "Observer" I switched to Teddy for obvious reasons.  So in the end, there really are more than one of us elitist, snobbish jerks out there!!

Maybe Cheney is a closet dem
He knows many people hate him, including me. He could be trying to lose McC's election since McC spoke out against Bush and Cheney.
As long as you do it in the closet & not
make it a public/legal issue, then whatever you want to call it is fine. I don't care what you do behind closed doors, but when your perversion is flaunted in public in front of my children or made to be a national legal issue, then I have a problem with it. I hope the states stupid enough to make it legal have sense enough to reverse their decision.
Keep it in the closet where it belongs? (sm)

You know, the same could be said about religion --- which is just another "choice."  As in keep your sermons to yourself.  Maybe I don't want my children exposed to fanatics who believe in a nonexistent being, but you guys just keep on preaching.  The ironic thing about your post is that religion itself is a choice.  It is a choice to believe.  So, you think everyone else should abide by what you choose to believe -- as opposed to how they choose to live.  Quite a double standard you have there.

Oh, that's just silly. So you are a mind reader? I don't think so.
It's obvious what happened.  Give some of us the benefit of having a brain.
Glad you put that straight, Reader.
Not that it really needed to be put straight in any but the most challenged minds, but hey - was very interesting!
Excellent post, Reader.
You really hit the target:) And of course, you are absolutely correct. MT has no credibility here, she blew it herself.

And I totally agree with you about lying - that is one thing liberals on the whole despise, but something you'll NEVER find the Cons stating that they hate. They can't, because it's just too easy to prove that lying is a Con way of life and they know it. So they attack us instead:) It's all they've got.
Hillary C. , closet Republican..sm

I am not enthralled with her as well.  I see her as someone who straddles both sides of the fence, or as you aptly put it, a closet Republican. I had a high opinion of her, but it seemed to me that when Bush's popularity was at an all time high she bent with the wind to include her vote on Iraq. Iraq had been so closely monitored for so many years and under such scrutity there was no way Iraq had any undetected weapons of mass destruction.  That woman was in the White House for 8 years and had to know that was not the case, yet she went right along with it as it was the politically popular thing to do at the time.  I lost my respect for her after that. The exciting thing is that there are so many candidates out there now. I also like Chris Dodd, but I don't think he has too much of a chance. Anyway the debates will be coming and the voters will have a good variety of candidates to listen to and field out.

Reader's Digest version....
Nancy Pelosi is Catholic, Joe Biden is Catholic. Nancy Pelosi made some comment about the Catholic Church being vague on the issue of abortion (those are not her exact words, the jist of it). Anyway, immediately one of the Catholic Church hierarchy said there was nothing vague about the stand of the Catholic Church (and printed what the stand is) and said if a Catholic supported abortion they should not take Communion. It was mentioned again in Denver when someone asked the Archbishop of Denver about it, as Joe Biden does profess to be Catholic, and the Archbishop said that the Catholic Church believes abortion to be wrong and he would speak to Mr. Biden personally. Bottom line, the Catholic Church defines life begins at conception, they are against abortion, and these Catholic higher-ups are saying that if you publically support abortion you should not take Communion. If you Google Pelosi abortion catholic church you can find a lot of it.

I am not Catholic, by the way. Just answering the question. So I can't get into a shouting match with people about what the Catholic church believes or what they should or should not do. I do agree with them, however, that life begins at conception.

And with that, I will finish.

So I guess what the article meant was that the last thing the Obama campaign wants to have to answer is abortion questions when his veep is catholic and the speaker of the house is catholic and they are being spanked by the church over abortion stance? That would be my take on it. I guess now we will see if Biden will throw his catholicism under the bus too?
Obama is a socialist and probably a closet...sm
communist, masquerading as the most liberal democrat in the Senate.

Democrats have this overwhelming desire to want to be taken care of from cradle to grave, and their leaders philosophy of, "let me take care of you forever" mentality is so scary. Not to mention the constant class envy and warfare on those that are successful in life.

Complete and total socialism, and communism.....Doesn't work, never has worked, won't work ever.

Oh yeah, and he and Michelle are racist. Certain comments, past and present, in or out of context, are racist and inflammatory..... let's call a spade, a spade, shall we?

And a spade? that's a playing card, not a black man in this context.

I'm also sick and tired of the so called political correctness in this country. If Obama can call McCain and "old white man" -- why the heck can't McCain call Obama a "young, black man."

Geez, is it November yet...please?

Flame on, I don't care anymore, and I'm out of here.
I posted the information. It is up to the reader...
to decide what it means.
I sure hope so...this closet is a little scary, too!
Bang on the pipes 3 times when the coast is clear, and I'll come out.
Reader's Digest version....
where do you think the dirt on Joe came from? a background check instigated by the governor of Ohio. Which tramples all over Joe's civil rights.

Now let's make that pertinent to you. If YOU went to a John McCain rally and placed yourself at a rope line for the sole purpose of asking a "hard" question...and you did ask the hard question...which he answered...and then his answer was not becoming so to do damage control the governor of the state launched a background check of you and made all the information from that public...would YOU not be angry and sue? I darned sure would. As big as liberals are on civil rights, and the ACLU is not in sight, and you certainly aren't defending Joe's civil rights either are you?

I guess that only matters to you when a liberal's civil rights are violated?
dear mind reader

1.  Very tacky to insult a person's family name.

2.  I hear Medium is returning in february.  be on it.

Nah, just cleaning out my closet and getting it out of my system.
Deleting old links, etc.  It's going to be a long four years.  I'm sure I'll have more to criticize, but for now I feel like taking a deep cleansing breath and bracing myself.
hiring a *speed reader*
to mug for the cameras was indicative of the respect the dems are showing for the legislative process, no?  what a bunch of scamps those dems are!
