I could have spent more time but I'm was limited to the half hour. This man spent a lot of time deciphering and examining the certificate. I wonder if they will call on him to testify (probably not).

I have a mixed daughter and she thanked me 1 time, saying "I have the best of both worlds." Perhaps he feels the same- it is not a put down of 1 side or the other- if you don’t understand now, you probably never will. It is the black that dominates as a color, not the white- therefore lots of mixed people go by the stronger of the 2 colors, has nothing to do with if they are pleased or trying to put down 1 side. While I usually agree with most of your posts, because I tend to flip flop a little between left and right myself, I am sure that conspiracy theory is incorrect. I don't think Obama is going to just be a martyr for the democratic party. I actually think that regardless of which candidate wins there will be a danger of assassination. It doesn't take the majority to be racist, it just takes one nutjob really. But really I think you were up too late and hyped up a bit too much and letting your mind wander a little too far. I am sure there were lots of reasons Biden was chosen but no, that hypothesis you stated is kinda too far out there.
He makes $10 an hour
They only work 36 hours a week and taxes are taken out equaling $300 a week. Not his choice to work half days on Friday, its the companies. He tries to pick up odd jobs with his brother when they can, but right now they are lucky to even be building houses the housing market is so slow.

It is better than just reading something that is posted and believing it on its face. If I really hated Democrats as I have been accused of, I would have accepted it at face value. I didn't. And now that I know the truth, you could not pay me enough to vote for a Democrat this election. When a party messes up this badly they need to be held accountable, and at the ballot box is the best place to do that.

spent the weekend
canvasing my city (live near a large university) area for O. It was a very dynamic experience. I met so many people who are excited about the election. I really enjoyed being a part of the campaign for change. I just stopped in to see how things are on the board. Unfortunately, all I see is a lot of bickering from same 3 or 4 people, so I just want to say hi to my fellow dems. I am going to be spending time productively getting out the vote. Have a campaign worker coming from out of state to stay in my home while he works my swing state. Go Obama!

for month of September. I think that is even more wasteful because she is so pretty. Turns out a guy was the shopper for her clothes. He has some nice taste, wish he would shop for me. Particularly liked the white Valentino jacket she was wearing at the convention maybe, not sure. Also loved the black blouse she wore while visiting the world leaders in NYC.

campaigning, so that may be part of the reason why. I hope he makes a good showing in other states. I'm glad he didn't throw in the towel yet, either.
The numbers that Biden, Dodd, and Richardson put up in Iowa are not representative of the support they actually had (especially Biden, IMO). The way the Iowa caucus is set up for Democrats unfortunately doesn't reflect the true support because of that "viability" rule. Republicans don't have that.

Half of America apparently still thinks so, a new poll finds, and experts see a raft of reasons why: a drumbeat of voices from talk radio to die-hard bloggers to the Oval Office, a surprise headline here or there, a rallying around a partisan flag, and a growing need for people, in their own minds, to justify the war in
Iraq.
People tend to become independent of reality in these circumstances, says opinion analyst Steven Kull.
The reality in this case is that after a 16-month, $900-million-plus investigation, the U.S. weapons hunters known as the Iraq Survey Group declared that Iraq had dismantled its chemical, biological and nuclear arms programs in 1991 under U.N. oversight. That finding in 2004 reaffirmed the work of U.N. inspectors who in 2002-03 found no trace of banned arsenals in Iraq.
Despite this, a Harris Poll released July 21 found that a full 50 percent of U.S. respondents — up from 36 percent last year — said they believe Iraq did have the forbidden arms when U.S. troops invaded in March 2003, an attack whose stated purpose was elimination of supposed WMD. Other polls also have found an enduring American faith in the WMD story.
I'm flabbergasted, said Michael Massing, a media critic whose writings dissected the largely unquestioning U.S. news reporting on the Bush administration's shaky WMD claims in 2002-03.
This finding just has to cause despair among those of us who hope for an informed public able to draw reasonable conclusions based on evidence, Massing said.
