Did you forget about the years he spent in Indonesia?

Where he studied the Muslin faith and prayed every day? Or did you conveniently forget that?

Sorry, I'm just getting sick of all this one-sided stuff and it's not just aimed at you.

The sister born 9 years later in Jakarta Indonesia?
the answer to that question? How many out there sit around discussing the hospital where there were born with their half-siblings? When did they ask her that question...before or after the legal challenges? Perhaps she made an educated guess based on Hawaiian geography and process of elimination. Would be interested in the context of that conversation. Got any links to that information?

He has provided his birth certificate. People can choose to either believe it or not, even though the courts, DNC, secy of the state of Illinois and the US secy of state seem to uphold its legitimacy). I think these other questions regarding 1996, 1998, 2002 and 2004 (the other years he was found to be eligible to run for office) when he was certified by the Illinois Secretary of State 3 times, the US Secretary of State in 2004 and the DNC and US Secretary of State in 2008 would be interesting to explore, in the interest of uncovering the ENTIRE story, especially since the constitution was not brought into the diaglog until Hillary lost the primaries, was not selected as VP and the reality of Obama's candidacy started to sink in with the republican base.
Furthermore, where the pubs think they are going to end up with this is almost too mind-boggling for even the most imaginative among us to conceive, so I really do wish they would enlighten us on that one.
Obama attended only 4 years a school in Jakarata, Indonesia,
from the 1st to the 4th grade. And this was a Catholic school.
At age 11 his mother brought him back to Honolulu, Hawai, where he attended the most prestigious school.

His biological father and stepfather were Muslims, his mother was Catholic.
Obama was never a practicing Muslim. Among his friends were also Muslim friend.
When he marreid Michelle in 1992, he converted to Christianity.
I think our President is a Christian.
This man spent 5 years of sm

his life in the Hanoi Hilton as a prisoner and he didn't walk away from serving his country?  Now he is worth waiting in line for.  Rock stars come and go.  Patriots are here to stay.

and don't forget, he paid the gov't back in something like 7 years? sm
Gourdpainter, you and I must be about the same age. I remember Lee Iacoca. He borrowed millions of dollars to bail out Chrysler. AND HE PAID IT BACK!! Before the note was due. That's the kind of person we need in Washington. A no-nonsense type of guy. One who will take it to the fat cats in their Armani suits and Gucci shoes and tell them..WE ARE FED UP AND PO'D AND WE'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE.

Ok, off my soapbox.
Just who gave Indonesia the right
to denounce a U.S. citizen's AMERICAN citizenship.  Who cares what Indonesia did.  At the time Obama was a kid for crying out loud and the school or government could put whatever they wanted on whatever they wanted.  This citizenship non-issue gets more absurd with every post about it.
in Jakarta, Indonesia.....nm
nm
Wrong! Indonesia as a child not Pakistan. nm
.
Are your geographically challenged. Indonesia is in Asia and...sm
Kenya is in Africa. His father was Kenyan and his stepfather Indonesian, neither of which makes his US citizenship null and void. The ignorance of actual facts is amazing.
wish i had just spent it!
I could have had some real fun with that money, traveled, or paid off the mortgage or bought my retirement home or.... etc., etc., etc. instead of just watching it disappear before my eyes. Wish I had done that. Now I can't stand to look at it; too depressing. Retirement now is only a place I won't ever get to.
I have spent a ton
If we are in a slump, it is not my fault. I have been buying up all these bargins. I am done shopping for the year.
spent the weekend

canvasing my city (live near a large university) area for O.  It was a very dynamic experience.  I met so many people who are excited about the election.  I really enjoyed being a part of the campaign for change.  I just stopped in to see how things are on the board.  Unfortunately, all I see is a lot of bickering from same 3 or 4 people, so I just want to say hi to my fellow dems.  I am going to be spending time productively getting out the vote.  Have a campaign worker coming from out of state to stay in my home while he works my swing state.  Go Obama!

I spent the day envisioning

the future where neither dolled up pigs nor pet goats would distract us from national issues.  I pledged with renewed fervor to work to have the administration that was in power at the time of the disaster be held accountable for their inactions and to work to elect the democratic team to begin rebuilding our nation.

you have actually spent time

reaching DMorris?  Sad to hear that.

Buchanan is on MSNBC and Chris Mathews tries to suppress a smile when Buchanan twists himself into a pretzel.  Rachel Maddow throws her head back and laughs.  the segment she has for him is called "It's Pat" and he is too old to know she is making fun of him.

Oh, PLEASE don't tell me she spent a wad on her HAIR!
.
I hope all of you who have spent
so much time bashing Obama are happy with your part in this.  Put some blame on the McCain/Palin couple for fueling the hate too. I expect it to get worse.  Shame on all of you.
Your time may be better spent
discussing the matter with those on this board who say there is no such document....

you all would do better to decide on whether you believe there IS a document or there isn't.... which is it?
For this you have to wait at least 3 years and 8 months , maybe 7 years and 8 mohths...nm
nm
He spent most of his time in senate
running for president. It is a shame the people of socialism did not even get proper representation from him. Anyone else with a job to do would be expected to actually DO the job. What's he going to run for if he actually does win the presidency? World Socialization and kissing cousins with terroists?
$13,000 was spent on a makeup artist
for month of September. I think that is even more wasteful because she is so pretty. Turns out a guy was the shopper for her clothes. He has some nice taste, wish he would shop for me. Particularly liked the white Valentino jacket she was wearing at the convention maybe, not sure. Also loved the black blouse she wore while visiting the world leaders in NYC.
The money being spent on the inauguration
At least that is one way to look at it.
If Paulson had spent that money....(sm)

from the first bailout on saving these institutions instead of padding CEO pockets, would this be an issue today?

Personally, I hope capitalism does go down.  It has never worked and never will.

What about the Billions Bush spent
Giving millions to companies without overseeing how the money was spent. You think that is responsible? You should at least give Obama a chance. We had to suffer through 8 long years of Republican ridiculousness... Can you not be gracious enough to allow this man some time? At least he has a plan to help American PEOPLE - Not INSTITUTIONS...AKA Bush Cronies.
Perhaps your time would be better spent reading the
the Global Poverty Act Obama wants to shove down your throat..... you want the United Nations telling you or your family how to raise your children?
And for the poster who believes our constitution is better in the hands of Obama, ask yourself why he wants to destroy it and let the United Nations dictate our country......I don't recall seeing that anywhere in the constitution.

Now, it takes a while to get through all the throat slitting sickening stuff in there he wants for your country (United Nations' country)but you might understand where our constitutional rights are heading........
Cheney spent SIX TIMES MORE on...

...entertainment than Bush????

Well, maybe that makes sense.  He does seem like someone who is pretty difficult to entertain.

Cheney spent SIX TIMES MORE on...

...entertainment than Bush????

Well, maybe that makes sense.  As I remember his snarling face, he did seem like someone who is pretty difficult to entertain.

I wish Bush WOULD have spent money
We would still have a budget surplus more than likely.

He spent virtually no time in Iowa
campaigning, so that may be part of the reason why. I hope he makes a good showing in other states. I'm glad he didn't throw in the towel yet, either.

The numbers that Biden, Dodd, and Richardson put up in Iowa are not representative of the support they actually had (especially Biden, IMO). The way the Iowa caucus is set up for Democrats unfortunately doesn't reflect the true support because of that "viability" rule. Republicans don't have that.
Man! I spent only a half hour looking at that site!
I could have spent more time but I'm was limited to the half hour. This man spent a lot of time deciphering and examining the certificate. I wonder if they will call on him to testify (probably not).
And why were you not screaming about the trillions being spent in Iraq????nm
nm
Well....if Planned Parenthood spent as much time and money....
offering contraception as they do abortion, it might make a difference. They make a killing...pun intended...on abortions. Millions of dollars. And can't afford to keep a clinic open 7 days a week??? Where is all that money going? I love their clinic rules...we will take a check for any service EXCEPT abortion. Cash up front for that one.

It was, in fact, the Memphis Planned Parenthood clinic site I was looking at.

Great site for tracking how the stimulus is spent. sm
The projects are not part of the stimulus bill, but are candidates for federal grants once the bill is passed. You can also make comments.

A trillion dollars being spent, 1100 pages
and the American people aren't allowed to look at it let alone the house and senate don't get time to read it? WTFrig  is that all about?
I totally agree with that, we need to put constraints on money spent....nm
nm
Wouldn't that money be better spent on CONTRACEPTIVE funding and education sm
world-wide? How about we stop unwanted pregnancies before they occur?
Not quite- 2 years Catholic, 2 years Muslim. NM

Yes, AJ, don't forget the
**liberal media**. When all else fails, just blame them. I wonder how long before they start attacking Fitzgerald.
I will never forget what he said.

He conned me, just like he conned those in Congress who voted for the war against Iraq.  I believed him when he said Iraq was involved with 9/11, and I wholeheartedly supported his war against Iraq for the reasons he gave.

But he didn't lie about his personal sex life, so his lies don't count to some people.

But don't forget -

Bush no longer cares about Bin Laden (and obviously Al Qaeda and the Taliban).

Also don't forget that Bush's reckless failure to nail 150 Taliban members is really Clinton's fault.

Don't forget
Reagan and G.W. Bush also have been accused of rape.  Check it out.  Please don't say that the Democrats have cornered the market on this.  Even Eisenhower had a mistress.
Let's not forget...

yea, and don't forget

Don't forget
the one I just used before reading your post..."airhead."  LOL.
Lest we forget...

This is for those with poor memories:

But let us not forget
Harry Reid, who said "The War Is Lost."  How totally irresponsible, not to mention a total disgrace to our troops.  I have such respect for their selflessness.  I'm literally in awe of them. I  get that lump in the throat thing when I see them.  We owe them SO much!
Also, don't forget

his famous "signing statements," like when he signed the law against torture and then quietly came back later and basically added that he doesn't have to obey that law if he doesn't want to.

http://www.democracynow.org/2006/3/27/bush_signs_statements_to_bypass_torture

I also find it astonishing that some people really believe that Democrats run Congress.  The House may have a Democratic majority, but the Republicans still have the majority in the Senate.  The Senate needs 60 Democrats in order to avoid a Republican fillibuster, and to my knowledge, they still don't have that number, even though they picked up a few seats in this year's election, so the Republicans can still continue to control the "do-nothing Congress."

(I hope this post makes sense.  Not feeling well and need to take meds and go to bed. )

As always, let's just forget anything that
for Obama and move on to other issues, such as how we never gave President Bush a chance to succeed, we never showed showed him an ounce of respect but we demand it for Obama, yada, yada, yada....whatever. Just be sure and ignore anything about Obama that is a little iffy, shove it under the rug and bow down. But, of course, there is no bias here.
lest you all forget.....sm
The electoral vote has not yet taken place and will not taken place until ---shoot, no calendar so I may be off on the date, but I believe it is December 10th. Not that I would want to actually see a change to the outcome of the election because I can't even begin to imagine the chaos that would ensue, but nothing is yet concrete. Don't come blasting at me; I am not expressing an opinion, simply stating a fact.
How soon we forget about

Or whatever name the woman was dubbed for going on TV and shouting that after he's in office her..."mortgage will be paid...gas in her car...bills paid...yada, yada, yada"...how soon we forget about that huh?

I am saddened that most people cannot see past the fact that Obama is a black man, period. To some, that's all the qualification he needs. He may very well be the perfect man for the job, be he black or white, or whatever, but I'm afraid he'll never be given the chance to prove that because so many are just fixated on the fact that he's black...so sad.

I do have to add that I did not vote for Obama, not because he's black, but because I disagree with his views. Even my 10 YO son said today that it doesn't matter what color his skin is, it matters what kind of a man he is, and he is so right. Obama is much more than that, but most just can't see past his ethnicity and that's so sad and surely not what he (or MLK) would have wanted.

Don't forget
The 200 million for grass on the national mall. I'm not a repub and this angers me.
Oh, how could I forget?
