Obama campaign cuts off WFTV after interview with Joe Biden...sm

Seems like if any news source asks any tough questions, and not softball easy ones, that the Obama campaign cuts them off.

Obama campaign cuts off WFTV after interview with Joe Biden

WFTV-Channel 9's Barbara West conducted a satellite interview with Sen. Joe Biden on Thursday. A friend says it's some of the best entertainment he's seen recently. What do you think?

West wondered about Sen. Barack Obama's comment, to Joe the Plumber, about spreading the wealth. She quoted Karl Marx and asked how Obama isn't being a Marxist with the "spreading the wealth" comment.

"Are you joking?" said Biden, who is Obama's running mate. "No," West said.

West later asked Biden about his comments that Obama could be tested early on as president. She wondered if the Delaware senator was saying America's days as the world's leading power were over.

"I don't know who's writing your questions," Biden shot back.

Biden so disliked West's line of questioning that the Obama campaign canceled a WFTV interview with Jill Biden, the candidate's wife.

"This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election," wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign.

McGinnis said the Biden cancellation was "a result of her husband's experience yesterday during the satellite interview with Barbara West."

Here's a link to the interview: http://www.wftv.com/video/17790025/index.html.

WFTV news director Bob Jordan said, "When you get a shot to ask these candidates, you want to make the most of it. They usually give you five minutes."

Jordan said political campaigns in general pick and choose the stations they like. And stations often pose softball questions during the satellite interviews.

"Mr. Biden didn't like the questions," Jordan said. "We choose not to ask softball questions."

Jordan added, "I'm crying foul on this one."

I saw Biden in an interview this morning....
he got realll agitated when confronted about an issue they really did not want to break. Talking to a reporter and he almost got loud. They are not on the run, but they are definitely concerned. The debates will be verrryyyy interesting.

To Biden's credit, though, he was almost snarly to the press for sexism and attacking Palin's family. Much more forceful about it than Obama. Good for him!
Another tough Biden interview...scrubbed from the Internet...
Marxism at its best, once again, what we will be able to expect from an Obama white house

Try putting the following in google, and the interview has been scrubbed clean off the Internet. It's hard to even find a transcript of the interview, and could only find parts of it.

Like Orlando, Obama - Biden Bans Philadelphia Station CBS3 After Tough Biden Interview
Biden is the biggest fool out there this campaign, wins hands down.nm

Obama's campaign called McCain's campaign.
This was reported an hour or two before McCain had his little news conference.  Shouldn't take to heart too much of what McCain says as he is a known liar.
Go Obama/Biden! I don't like it and will VOTE OBAMA/BIDEN!

Obama has shown great judgment in the people who surround him.  He picked a great VP choice, and his wife is impeccable as a helpmate and is a fantastic role model for the American children.

Obama said he was going to let Bush's tax cuts expire....
there is nothing at this site that suggests this takes into consideration letting Bush's tax cuts expire. Everyone should look at what Bush's tax cuts were and what you are going to lose when Obama lets them expire. Get the whole story.
THe Bush tax cuts that Obama is going to let expire...
DID help hardworking people. Do you even know what they are? Sheesh.
Obama's "Budget Cuts" Laughable

So - you think it's impressive that Obama plans to ask his department heads to cut $100,000,000 from their budgets?  Let's put aside for a moment the question of why he's asking them for cuts at all when he's the one who says that MORE government spending is the solution to our economic crisis.

Obama is crowing about this because he knows that Americans don't know how to translate "huge" numbers into percentages, and also that Americans have grown used to hearing numbers in the $trillions.  I mean - millions, billions, trillions all sound pretty much alike!   Let's prove him wrong, shall we?

If Obama were asking for $100 million to be cut from a $3.5 billion budget, it would represent 1/35th of that budget.  1/35 is about 2.86%.  So even on a $3.5 billion budget this wouldn't be much.

But wait.  Obama's budget is $3.5 TRILLION, which is 1000 times larger. (A trillion is 1000 times larger than a billion.)  Conversely, that makes $100 million a thousand times smaller of a percentage of the budget.  In other words, we're not even talking about 2.86%, but one-thousandths of 2.86%.  Here's what that looks like:   0.00286%.

In other words, if Obama made NEW cuts of $100,000,000 from his budget every day for over 300 days, he still wouldn't have even cut 1% from his budget.  So you may now be forgiven if you're underwhelmed by Obama's $100 million budget cut.

It's kinda like someone crowing about how they've reduced their carbon footprint by disconnecting their doorbell.  And this little object lesson showing how little $100,000,000 is compared to Mr. Obama's budget also gives you a little bit better idea just how disgustingly gargantuan his budget really is.

Wall Street Journal says Obama's tax cuts

Some need to pay close attention to this.........  it's called welfare handouts.  "Entitled mentality".  The working class will get NO tax cuts.  You all will be working to put money in the hands of those that do not.  It makes perfectly good sense.  I've been saying there is no way he can do anything he is leading people to believe he can because 1/3 of people in this country pay NO TAXES.   He has led so many to believe he will cut middle class when he can't.  He is blatantly trying to disguise "government handouts" as "tax credits".   You want your hard earned money going to everyone who doesn't bother to work?

One of Barack Obama’s most potent campaign claims is that he’ll cut taxes for no less than 95% of “working families.” He’s even promising to cut taxes enough that the government’s tax share of GDP will be no more than 18.2% — which is lower than it is today.

It’s a clever pitch, because it lets him pose as a middle-class tax cutter while disguising that he’s also proposing one of the largest tax increases ever on the other 5%. But how does he conjure this miracle, especially since more than a third of all Americans already pay no income taxes at all? There are several sleights of hand, but the most creative is to redefine the meaning of “tax cut.”

For the Obama Democrats, a tax cut is no longer letting you keep more of what you earn. In their lexicon, a tax cut includes tens of billions of dollars in government handouts that are disguised by the phrase “tax credit.” Mr. Obama is proposing to create or expand no fewer than seven such credits for individuals[.]

Repeated? Obama doesn't want to repeat tax cuts

for the rich -- and "rich," by the way, is anyone earning more than a quarter of a million dollars a year.

Obama wants to give tax CREDITS to businesses that keep jobs in the USA, instead of exporting them out of the country.

These huge greedy corporations may be creating jobs, but they're not creating American jobs.  Obama wants to try to slow that down and wants to reward companies who don't turn their backs on Americans.

Obama Interview.........sm
Hey sam, are up for a complete dissection on every single answer or non-answer that Obama gave on the O'Reilly interview?

Personally, what I came away with is this:

1. Obama is very charming, likable, charismatic. He looks good and acts presidential, most of the time.

2. Even though the interview was scripted, and Obama knew what the questions were going to be, I think he answered things pretty well. He did sound thoughtful, and knowledgeable.

3. I thought he was going to be given a free ride, but O'Reilly really was kind of tough on him a few times.

4. But really, the single most interesting thing I came away with was......I had no idea what he said a couple of times. He danced around a couple of questions, talking both sides, I really didn't know what his answer was. I guess he was trying to please everyone, but I have no idea what he was really thought or said. It was weird.

Anyway, I see why they all follow blindly. He looks good and sounds good, and says exactly what they want to hear. But I just still don't see anything of real substance there behind the man.
Finally an article on the truth of Obama's big tax cuts and plans...sm
It's been hard to find this story and the facts lately, and I'm glad you posted this.

It really sounds like Obama is trying to "buy" the votes of all the people in America in the lower income bracket.

Very sneaky and scary, as most people believe him.
Colin Powell interview on Obama
Beautifully stated. See link.
Obama campaign
Obama opened a campaign headquarters in our town and one of the first things they did was to put a large poster in the window stating "Felons CAN vote." After an uproar, the sign was taken down, but it left a bad taste in a lot of mouths.

Right, Obama said already during his campaign that
he will bring troops home from Iraq and send more troops to Afghanistan, because there the Taliban is gaining strength again, also Pakistan is increasingly involved, as the Taliban are hiding inside Pakistan, alongside the border.
It 'sizzles' in Afghanistan.
Geez.....Obama has a CAMPAIGN ad....
about issuing a windfall profits tax on oil companies (private profits, earned) and redistributing that to people as a freebie who did nothing to earn it. I didn't make that up. His campaign ad says it very clearly, in his own voice, and then it says "I am Barack Obama and I approved this message." An yes, they run the ad on Fox too, as well as most of the networks.

I have read his tax plan. What I didn't read is how he intends to pay for it. I would be asking the same questions if Hillary was running and saying the same things. But she isn't. He is.
Obama has lobbyists on his campaign as well...
and until recently, Joe Biden's son was a paid lobbyist for several years in Washington and did several deals with dad.
Lobbyists on both sides. Obama worked with lobbyists in Chicago.
Then I take it if Obama had suspended his campaign first...
your post would have been: Not me for a minute! Foolish middle-aged man!

lol sigh
Obama's Subliminal Ad Campaign

Does anyone else find it kind of creepy that Obama is paying to imbed ads in video games?

Or that Major League Baseball has agreed to postpost game 6 of the World Series so Obama can air a 30-minute informercial on all three major stations?  (He already wants to kill the American Dream.  Now he wants to postpone the American pasttime?)

Or that Obama is outspending McCain 8-to-1?  And we're supposed to buy that he's going to cut back spending and balance the budget?

It seems like O's answer to everything is to throw more money at the problem.  Tax, tax, tax.  Spend, spend, spend.

It looks like we'll finally find out how much it costs to buy an election in America.

Well, I was a contributor to Obama's campaign...(sm)
As a matter of fact, when I checked my e-mail yesterday, there was a note from the DNC asking for donations for the purpose of eliminating the deficit from the election cycle.  My guess is that we will now be contributing for Hillary, as we should be, and we will be.
Obama's whole campaign has been hype and hysteria...
lol. Good grief.
That should be Obama's new campaign song - Desparado
Sure fits their campaing right now.
When I said "your campaign" I meant Obama put it from his...
campaign...that is different from someone's supporters putting something out without the stamp of approval of the campaign. I did not mean you personally. Unless you are running for office, you don't have a campaign. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

As far as voter fraud...looks like it is not only the GOP:
The union supporting, Democratic Party pushing, extreme leftist Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) has been caught trying to jerry-rig voter applications in Michigan. It is looking like fraud on a massive scale in Detroit as ACORN tries to fill the Democrat voter rolls with fake Democrat voters.

ACORN is being investigated after several Municipal Clerks discovered fraudulent and duplicate voter registration applications.

The majority of the fraudulent and duplicate applications are coming from the liberal ACORN group based in Detroit, Michigan, which now has ACORN investigating the problem once again as well as the Secretary of State’s Office turning over some of those applications to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
And it isn’t just Detroit that has found fraud being perpetrated by ACORN.

In recent years, ACORN’s voter registration programs have come under investigation in Ohio, Colorado, Missouri and Washington, with some employees convicted of voter fraud.
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review is also reporting that the Obama campaign has been forced to amend a report to reflect over $800,000 of previously unreported ACORN donations to his campaign.

ACORN is at the heart of one of the most massive voter fraud campaigns in American history. ACORN is intimate with Barack Obama and is a major supporter of unions throughout the country and is doing its level best (and illegally at that) trying to assure that Obama wins this election.

Have not heard Obama say much about this...but I guess he can't until he returns their money.

Am still researching if McCain has said anything about the GOP shenanigans...which if true, is just as bad and neither side should be doing it. But again, it appears as if both sides are.
Obama campaign cracks down on misleading TV ads...sm
I can find no liberal comments on this, either blogs or liberal media. So my guess is that liberals think this is okay to do and enforce.

Obama/Biden looking better and better.
I guess we're all human, but still....
if obama/biden

were for preemptive war, suspension of habeas corpus, torture, and no oversight of corporations resulting in Halliburton, Enron, and banking industry scandals, I would not consider voting for them, no matter how compelling their personal stories or charming they may be. That is why I vote democrat.

Obama campaign sets record for democrat

ACTION ALWAYS SPEAK LOUDER THAT WORDS, and what transpired this June 30 for the Obama presidential campaign speak volumes for anyone who knows a mote about USA politics! Even though Obama has not and will not accept a single dime from any high-powerful, super rich and corrupting lobbyist; and even though his support base include many ordinary common people of all races and poor small contributors, still he managed to set an ALL TIME record for the most money that a democrat has ever raise in a six month period - not to mention that he is black, a person with Muslim roots, a upstart first term Senator, and an opposer to the Iraq war!
This indeed is phenomenal, and a sign that indeed Obama’s campaign is a force to be reckoned with. He said that he has the largest grassroots campaign in history and now, few can muster the courage to try to dispel or argue against his claim.

All I can hope is the Obama campaign picks up this mantra...
because if they do, they are toast and we won't have to do a thing. Do you honestly think there are no parents of pregnant teenagers out there who VOTE? Just keep on spreading this seething judgmental condemnation. Just keep on. It should be copied and pasted onto blogs...what Obama supporters will sink to. What a good idea.
I think I will start now.
Obama campaign gave over 800K dollars

Amazing garbage by the Obama campaign you are fine with....
and dirty doesn't even come close. Have a man investigated because he asked a question?? Talk about UNAmerican. Where is the ACLU? Where are all you liberal civil rights folks?? Where is the outrage? Geez. THAT is truly amazing.
Obama's Campaign to Return Aunt's Contributions.... sm

By Matthew Mosk
The campaign of Sen. Barack Obama will refund a small number of contributions made by Obama's aunt, who has been living in the United States illegally, according to a published report.

The woman, Zeituni Onyango, lives in public housing in Boston and is the half-sister of Obama's late father.

The Associated Press reported today that Obama's aunt had been instructed to leave the country four years ago by an immigration judge who rejected her request for asylum from her native Kenya.

Obama campaign reports filed with the Federal Election Commission show Onyango gave $265 to the campaign. Foreign nationals are not permitted to donate to American presidential campaigns.

"Given the information that has been brought to our attention, the contributions are being refunded," Ben LaBolt, an Obama campaign spokesman, told The Washington Post this morning.

The campaign told the AP that Obama was not aware that questions had been raised about his aunt's legal status.

"Senator Obama has no knowledge of her status but obviously believes that any and all appropriate laws be followed," the statement said, according to the AP.

"No knowledge of her status."  Why does that not surprise me?  A man who is so "family oriented" and has such a wonderful extended family with which he goes to Kenya to visit and strengthen his roots with, yet he has no clue as to what their "status" is.

Obama's top three health care campaign lies

By Phil Kerpen

Lie Number 1: I Won’t Tax Your Health Benefits

What Obama said on the campaign trail (Newport News, Va., October 4, 2008):

“So here’s John McCain’s radical plan in a nutshell: he taxes health care benefits for the first time in history… Well, I don’t think that’s right.”

What Obama says now:

Obama ally Sen. Max Baucus told the Washington Post that Obama is now willing to tax employer-provided health benefits. Baucus said: “Yeah, it’s something that he might consider. That was discussed. It’s on the table.”

Limiting or ending the tax-free status of health benefits makes sense if it’s used to cut other taxes and put all health insurance—employer-provided or not—on a level playing field. The existing benefit is an artifact of World War II-era price controls and creates a tax penalty for people who buy their own insurance.

But unlike the McCain plan, which would have taxed employer-provided health benefits and used the money to pay for a new health care tax credit, the plan now being considered by Democrats, including Obama, would tax employer-health benefits to fund increased government health care spending. For the 250 million-plus Americans who already have health insurance, this is a raw deal—they pay more taxes and get nothing in return.

Lie Number 2: I Won’t Force You to Buy Health Insurance

What Obama said on the campaign trail (Janesville, Wis., February 13, 2008):

“The main difference between my plan and Senator Clinton’s plan is that she’d require the government to force you to buy health insurance and she said she’d ‘go after’ your wages if you don’t.”

What Obama says now:

President Obama sent a letter to Democratic Senators Ted Kennedy and Max Baucus yesterday that says—using the new code word “responsibility” to refer to the same kind of mandate he slammed in Hillary’s plan:

“I understand the Committees are moving towards a principle of shared responsibility — making every American responsible for having health insurance coverage, and asking that employers share in the cost. I share the goal of ending lapses and gaps in coverage that make us less healthy and drive up everyone’s costs, and I am open to your ideas on shared responsibility.”

While President Obama did say he would like a waiver process in hardship cases, there is no reason to have a mandate other than to force people to buy insurance who don’t want to, mostly young people who are healthy and want to spend their limited income on their young careers and families. According to the Census Bureau, about 60 percent of the uninsured are under age 35, with the highest rates in the 18-24 bracket (28.1 percent uninsured) and the 25-34 (25.7 percent uninsured) bracket. This is about forcing some people who don’t want health insurance to pay for other people through a new government program. It’s more spreading the wealth around.

President Obama is poised to accept this provision for the same reason Sen. Clinton proposed it—to buy off insurance companies. Democrats learned a lesson from the 1993 HillaryCare fight when the insurance companies stopped a Washington health care takeover. The mandate is a giveaway to insurance companies to buy their support this time by forcing healthy young people who use less health care to pay insurance premiums.

Lie Number 3: If You Aren’t Rich, I Won’t Raise Your Taxes

What Obama said on the campaign trail (September 12, 2008, Dover, N.H.):

“I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.”

What Obama says now:

Well, it’s hard to keep up because new ideas are floated every day, but they all would involve taxing people who make less than $250,000. In fact, even his income tax hikes for the rich have now been dropped down to start at $235,000. Then there’s the soft drink excise tax, the cap-and-trade energy taxes, and most recently the VAT, a form of national sales tax. And of course the tax on health benefits I mentioned above would also break the only-tax-the-rich pledge.

What all these proposals have in common: we all pay, big-time, likely trillions of dollars in higher taxes for “free” government health care. In fact, that’s probably the biggest lie of all—that government health care is free.

Only if you want to say Obama Biden Laden
Which I don't know where the Laden comes in. I don't see the similarity unless you want to see it. You need to get Osama Bin Laden out of your minds and grasp reality. Barack Obama and Joe Biden are two great men in politics. Osama? He's been out of my mind ever since Benazir Bhutto said she knew who had killed Bin Laden (then she was assissinated).
this is in regards to Obama choosing biden for VP

it's not original but it is fitting.

this is in regards to Obama choosing biden for VP, Huckabee said

"it's like going to Baskin Robbins and picking vanilla" LOL

I love it. The man who supposedly is about change, doesn't select a VP that's anything different than any of the other demos out there.

So this is you NOT bashing Obama/Biden?
Joe Biden told the truth about his "old friend," John McWayne. He also has a right, if not a mandate from the party, to take issue with failed policies and to define exactly how a McCain coronation would be nothing more than 4 more years of the same old poop.
Whether or not their "friendship" survives the battleground of election politics not a burning concern. The nominee needs to be loyal to the cause of the party. Joe Biden most definitely is that. Once and for all, for some it's all about personal attack politics, but for most of us, it is about issues, issues, issues. BTW, the bus analogy is getting a bit tired by now. It's value was spent long ago during the Rev. Wright rampage.

That snipe about adoring throngs is typical Fox News reporting replay, designed to misconstrue, mislead and spin the reality of the moment. Fact is that Obama has attained celebrity status, not only among his supporters, but all over the globe (85% approval rating in France for example), because those "followers" recognize the charisma that arises out of such personal characteristics as sincerity, honesty, credibility, integrity, intelligence, determination to succeed against all odds, perseverance, courage, compassion, imagination and vision, to name a few. John McCain has about as much charisma as a weather-worn doormat. They also identify with the simplicity of his message of hope, dissatisfaction with the status quo and change.

On the question of inexperience. Let's put this in a little perspective. Obama: 4 years state-level Illinois senate, 4 years US Senator. To say he has "no experience" in foreign policy affairs would require overlooking the fact that those 4 years were war on terrorism years. He at least knows the ropes. In comparison let's begin with the 2 best examples of inexperienced presidents. These guys managed to leave behind them legacies as the most brilliant and inspired leaders in our nation's history. To further illustrate the point, there are a few more examples cited.
1. JFK: Despite 6 years in the Massachusetts House of Representatives and 7 years as a US senator, he was relentlessly dogged by his own party's elders for being the new kid on the block, based primarily on his youth. When placed in context, his credentials become fairly impressive, to say the least, considering he had achieved 13 years of experience by the age of 46 (one year younger than Obama), when he was sworn in as president. Like Obama, Kennedy's rising star was launched at age 40, when he became a first term US Senator who later entered the presidential race after an electrifying convention speech in 1956. The cronies did not take him very seriously at first. When challenged by his party's colleagues on this issue, he replied, “Experience,” he said, “is like taillights on a boat which illuminate where we have been when we should be focusing on where we should be going.”
2. Abraham Lincoln, perhaps the most inexperienced of them all and a political late-bloomer, was elected president at age 52 after 2 short years as a US Senator from Illinois. This beginner managed to make one of the most significant contributions to the progressive advancement of American values that, to this day we continue to elaborate.
3. GW Bush had no experience beyond one 4-year term of state level politics as governor. The mockery he made of "representing" the best interests of Texans is well documented. His failures in virtually every business venture he ever tried and his silver spoon sense of heritage was the stuff of legend in the Lone Star State. He was a horrible governor. His tenure as president has been an utter disaster.
4. Bill Clinton had a little more on the state level, but no federal level experience. At least his state-level experience reflected well on him in that regard: 2 years as Arkansas Attorney General (1977-1979), and 11 years total as Governor (1979-1981 and 1983-1992). Must have been doing something right for his constituents, since they kept bringing him back, just like they did when he served 2 terms as a rookie pres.
5. Ronald Reagan. Lots of on-screen acting experience in Hollywood, 8 years as a Governor, none whatsoever on the federal level. Want to dish about the rock star/"celebrity" candidate? Guess not. California, home of Hollywood, is entitled. They have another celebrity governor who, like Reagan, won that office without any prior political experience whatsoever.
6. Jimmy Carter. Three years in the Georgia State House of Representatives and 4 years as Governor. No federal experience.

Does not seem to have been much of a REAL issue in the past…probably still isn't. That "so-called" bad image of the US among world leaders is justified and well deserved. Fact remains that, while others before him had their hand in this erosion of US standing, George Bush's contribution in this regard is unmatched in recent times. Piece of work, that guy. Denying this will not make it any less true. Don't waste your time speculating on how well received Obama will be tonight or how seriously he will be taken. For most of us, including, Ahmadinejad or Medvedev, we are drop dead serious about the direction the our country is going and will be looking way, far beyond spineless, impotent personal attacks and examining the question of how many among us and across the globe share his vision of the future….same questions the republicans will have to face, at long last, next week.

Biden also said that Barack Obama was not...
ready to be President. I believe his words were: "THe Presidency does not lend itself to on-the-job training." Not what he is saying now. Let's be real about this.
Obama and Biden vote
What you don't realize is that when the vote took place, Pubs were in charge of house and senate.  They always throw in crap (like the Bridge to Nowhere) in with the budget.  In order to get anything done for the American people, the Democrats have to vote yes even though there are things in there that they don't agree with.  That's how the Pubs do it.  Lumping everything together instead of the way it's supposed to be done.  Democrats have to compromise in order to get anything done.  Pubs never do.  They always want their way, like little babies, instead of doing what's right for the country.  Like when congress went on vacation in August, they threatened a government shutdown if Pelosi refused to bring up a vote on drilling.  Then when the government's shut down and more people suffering, they blame the Democrats when it's all the Pubs' fault.  And stupid Pubs just listen to everything that comes out of their mouths and believe it.  Wake up people!  Watch CSPAN once in awhile and see the truth for yourselves!
FINE! JOE BIDEN SAID OBAMA WAS NOT...
READY TO BE PRESIDENT!! Which is worse??? Geez.
Joe Biden also said that Obama was not ready...
to be President. Is HE sticking by that? Sorry to you to...lol
Obama and Biden are sinking themselves....sm
every time they open their mouths lately. They don't need help from anyone else.

Regarding the O, did you know he lied in one of his memoirs? Said he worked for an investment firm (or something like that, my husband told me this story). Said he felt he sold out by going to work, sitting in the corner office, and selling stock (or whatever he said he sold). So he left that job and went out to do community organizing.

Turns out...and this from a guy that worked with him at the time...there was no corner office. No one wore suits, they all wore tee shirts. And they wrote financial ad copy.

Now mind you, this guy that actually worked for him, says he didn't tell the truth here on several levels, about this position and job and all, in his, you know, memoir...but hey, I'm voting for him anyway....

So he lies, I know it, I'm still voting for him.

Go figure....

NOW supporting Obama/Biden...
http://www.now.org/press/09-08/09-16.html
Joe Biden didn't think Obama was up to the job of...
Presidency either...and you don't get any more Democrat than Joe Biden. Of course, that all changed when he got added to the ticket.

There are a few conservatives who don't like John McCain...that is no secret. He has stepped on a lot of toes in his career because he puts country first and party second. That makes as many enemies as it does friends.

And it makes him, in my opinion, just what we need. I am ready for a President who puts his country first.

As to Sarah P and her photo ops...no different than Barack and his trip to germany and Israel. He only took news outlets in the tank for him and they would not dare ask him a tough question. Let's at least be fair about this.
Why doesn't Obama let Biden take over for him...
and go to DC and show leadership like McCain is? Didn't hear Letterman making that point. And you won't either. lol.
Yeah, Biden just knows that Obama needs
