At 17, you shouldn't be breaking curfew, but how many do? At 17, you shouldn't be drinking, either, but how many 17 year olds do you suppose have had a drink? At 17, you shouldn't be smoking, but how many do you suppose have? Don't give me bunk about how all listen to their mamas if they have a good one, because that's just BS and shows just how far your head is buried in the sand. At 17, most kids are stuck between childhood and adulthood and they are testing their boundaries. If you like to stay in the dark about the realities teens face today, good luck to you and yours. I'm sure if your DD got pregnant, you'd ship her off for an abortion she might regret forever or send her away to some home for unwed mothers to save embarrassment on your part. Earth to Francie - it's 2008. Take a look around you. Look past your perfect brood and see how the rest of the world is living. It ain't pretty, but it's reality.
